  1. I've been experiencing this intermittently for a while, now it happens all the time and I can't play WoT unless I play vanilla. I've tried all the suggested steps in the "how to report a bug" topic, and even deleted everything, including the files in %appdata%/Wargaming.net, and re-installed fresh. I got to the point where Wot on the .17 update was mostly stable, but applying .18 today broke the game and reverting to .17 didn't help. Usually it hangs immediately, and the mouse pointer isn't visible. Sometimes the pointer is visible, but after I click on one or two things it hangs, and the only way to recover is to close the WoT window (I play in Windowed mode). I'm running the latest GeForce drivers on my 780Ti, I'm running Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit with all updates, I have 32G RAM and 30% free space on my SSD. I tried reducing and reducing the number of mods I install, with no help. I tried starting with no mods and adding a few at a time, and the game would last longer before the hang (3 or 4 clicks). I've included the files you need. Thanks for your help Aslain! --- update --- I forgot to mention another new behavior: Although I haven't changed my password, now I have to type it in every time. Also, I tried something that fixed things a bit: I rolled back the GeForce driver to the previous version. I haven't played any games yet, but at least the garage seems to be working OK. I'm still on my full load of mods installed by the .17 installer, but at least I can play! :-) _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  2. Stuck on "Updating Vehicles" or "Updating Crew" when changing tanks in garage I'm using Aslains_XVM_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.4.6.33_910 I didn't change any install options since 4.6.32. I haven't played any games with it, only doing garage maintenance The problem occurs right after clicking a different tank in the 3-row carousel At first it was "Updating Crew..." The last time it was "Updating Vehicles..." The graphics keep animating, and the application hasn't stopped responding. After the first time I got stuck, I quit, re-booted, and re-ran WoT. It loaded right into "Updating Crew" without me doing anything. Then I removed all the mods, and the problem went away. I read the "how to file a bug report" instructions and I did run an install with the 3 recommended options. The problem was gone. Just for fun, I quit WoT and copied my "preferences.xml" file back. The problem came back. To be safe, I re-ran the installer with the three recommended settings again. Then I logged in and set my in-game settings back to how I like them. Then I quit and re-ran WoT I realized that all my "Automatically return crew" checkboxes were cleared, so I started to turn them all back on. On the first tank, the game froze on "Updating Vehicles..." I quit the game and ran it again. Then it froze on "Updating crew..." as soon as it started up, without having to click anything. Thanks! _Aslain_logs.zip python.log

I've included the two log files. Thanks! _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  4. It's nice to have this option back. Thanks again!
  5. Update: I meant to say "Multi Hit Log", not "Damage Log." Hi Aslain, The Multi Hit Log used to say something like: Damage: 650 Remaining: -530 WN8 1000 It was very useful to see the amount of damage I still had to do to maintain my current WN8. I can't find that configuration among the choices in the installer. I'd sure like to have it back. Many thanks! FTC
  6. Hi Aslain, Would you please give focus to the main window when preview window automatically pops up? I always check the box to bring up the preview, and it gets focus. So I have to click in the main window. If I'm remembering right, I have to click in a safe area otherwise I can change the options. As promised, I've sent another donation. Your work is amazing, and I'm grateful you work so hard on it! Sincerely, FTC
  7. Hi Aslain, Thanks for all your work. I've donated in the past, and I'm going to again. I use your mod pack all the time. One feature about the installer make me make mistakes. When it first runs, the popup menu with "Custom Install" has focus. So when I scroll with my middle mouse button, that menu changes, and it erases all my custom choices from my last install. I have to quit the installer and re-run, and be sure to click something in the mod list to give it focus. What I'm trying to do is scroll down the mod list, to check or change the settings. Would it be possible to give focus to the mod list by default, so scrolling would be active by default? Thanks again, FetchTheCow (Steve)
  8. You could try installing only the OTM Reload mod, and nothing else. That would rule out an incompatibility with another mod. I'm also using session stats (minimal) and OTM Reload, on Win 8.1, without issues.
  9. Steps to reproduce: 1- run Aslains_XVM_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.4.5.9_99 2- click "Enable the Image/Sound Preview by default" 3- click "Next" to continue 4- click "Next" to accept License Agreement 5- click "Next" to continue with setup 6- click "Next" to accept the location of the client (which is correct) 7- select "OTM Reload" - "animated circle" (see attached pic) 8- installer immediatly crashes. Supporting files attached. They are all a day old. "_Aslain_ log.zip" is a week old, so it doesn't apply to this install. I included it anyway, I included InfluxPS.log because the last line says, "FreeAllTextures() manager corrupt!" UPDATE: Installer does not crash if I skip step (2) - "Enable preview by default". I believe the root cause is trying to show the preview for "animated circle". If I avoid that, I'm fine. I can show previews for other items, just not that. python.log xvm.log _Aslain_logs.zip Influx_PS.log
  10. I've been looking, Googling the world, but no luck yet. Anyone manage to find a compatible version? It would be later than version v.067, I think. Thanks, ftc
  11. I've been using Aslain's mod pack since Wot 9.2, and the skip intro feature has never worked, on four different PCs. I read on the WoT forums that WG had disabled the ability to skip it by changing a configuration, so I never paid it much mind.
  12. That looks like a different bug, where you lose control of your tank's movements with the WASD keys. With this bug, you can still control the tank via WASD just fine, but the turret and the aim point get stuck. It behaves as if you're holding your mouse in the air--the buttons all work, but you can't point anywhere.
