Thanks! Turns out that I only needed to run WoT as an admin, and it works fine. Maybe there is also some more permanent solution out there, but this works well for the time being.

Hey! I tried installing the modpack using the safe installation, and without it. Tried selecting different mods and barely any at all. But every time the names dissapear, everybody look like black blobs on the minimap, and even some issues after that. I don't know what else I can do. After I uninstall, it returns to normal. It looks like this in-game.
