There have been at least 10 people who have reported the SAME or SIMILAR issues with this modpack for almost two months now. I have used Aslain's modpack for MANY years (maybe 5 years???) and have advised and helped people configure their Aslain's modpack in all those years. Thursday I had to make the tough decision to see what OTHER modpacks are out there, because I just haven't been able to get Aslain's to work these past 2 months. Lo-and-behold...ALL the other modpacks just install perfectly...with the choices I make. I really miss some of the stuff that's in THIS modpack, but well...it just doesn't work. So, even though I have been a grateful user and think Aslain has been doing a great job over the years, saying it is not his problem when so many people have the same problem with this modpack that isn't happening with the other modpacks sounds...well...not really true.

So you say. It would be nice if your installer worked on a fresh install with no extra virus-scanners apart from those than come with Windows and nothing weird going on in any other way.

I have the same problem. There have been other posts about this problem, but it hasn't been solved.

OK...here are the three folders containing the logs and mods as they are on my computer after a FRESH install of WoT. First I did the "standard XVM installation", then started the game. Then I installed your modpack again with my personal settings and played a game with about half of the chosen options not working (like the tank-icons, the garage-information, the spotted-graphic, etc...). As you can see, the icons are downloaded, but they are not extracted and put in their correct places (I tried extracting them manually in the past, but that doesn't work either) Aslain_Modpack.rar mods.rar res_mods.rar

I am no script-writer, but the files are downloading perfectly, but could it be that there is something wrong with the "extractor"? It looks like it is not extracting the files at all. When I manually extract them and then move the directory to the proper place there were no previous files there.

I hope this works. What definitely doesn't work and hasn't worked for weeks (I have reinstalled WoT, used the checks, etc...): - Skull & Bones Icons - Vehicle IP Current - Gun Traverse Lines - Hitlog & Damage Logs (I tried several) - Advanced Info On Carousel - Vehicle Contour Icons (any kind I have tried...none work) - Garage Icons (none of your modpack work) ...and more. I have tried upgrading Windows, changing the write-protection to the WoT-dir, installing a clean-Aslain's, and at least a dozen more things that I could imagine, but I don't know how this script works and don't have the time to rewrite it...even though I spent more time with these things than it would for me to learn how to write the whole script. It seems a LOT of people are having the same issues. I've tried a lot of things to solve it, but its just no use...there is something fundamental going on.

No, all files are downloaded AND are installed properly...the game just can't find them. Various parts of the modpack - like the contour icons, the clan-icons, the 6th sense image, the garage-carrousel, etc... - just aren't loaded/found. The rest is...XVM is working, Yasenkrasen is working...just none of your bits.

Did some digging: Aslains_contour_icons_roman_TIM_1800.7z clanicons-full-2020.02.28_EU_by_Aslain.7z sixthsense_static_1800.7z Have all downloaded properly, but where does the installer put them? They are not found by the game at all. None of these three files end up in a place the game sees them.

I can only access it after I go around the Google Chrome block of this link: NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID During play today without the Contour Icons (but also without win-rate% and several other mods not working) I also had intermittent XVM stats connections. About 1-in-5 of all battles, I didn't get the XVM-stats. But, yeah...haven't had Contour Icons for a week now. Yasenkrasen is working, XVM is active (mostly), latest updates for everything...fresh install.

Re-installed the game, re-installed the latest Aslain's... Still no Contour Icons

To be honest...I also had this problem...Yasenkrasen working, XVM "working", but Contour Icons, Garage Overlay and Spotted Warning not found. Removed the mod-pack and re-installed with the latest earlier today with the same results. Now completely re-installing the game and hoping this will solve the problem. I believe it is a question of the wrong dirs being read/referred to.

I have been unable to 'enable' XVM inside the game for more than a month now. When I go to XVM it says the services are activated, but when I log onto the game it always says "Network services inactive." I'm always running the latest version of Aslain's modpack - currently at https://modxvm.com XVM 7.7.1 (8583) I have completely re-installed the game today and I still get the same message. Is there a setting in Aslain's installer that could be blocking XVM to be enabled?
