Carrier can no longer go into top down view.

Hello all,

 

I really love this modpack, and i use a load of the mods, sadly some are discontinued, like the cap timers etc.

And each new patch i fear/hope nothing new is broken. But sadly with the last patch i suddenly cant get into topdown view with cv no more.

When in press the shift key, the view keeps stuck on either the carrier or plane im viewing.

In safe mode top down view does work. At first the new free cam woudlnt work either, (also uses shift key).

But modpack v.5.7.0.03 atleast resolved that part. ALso tried turning a few likely suspects off.

But i use so many, its hard to find out which one it is. Here is a list of what i use.

If anyone could advice me or help me with this. Also is it just me or...

in 0.5.6, in World of Warships options, they added this:

Added an option to turn off camera switch by pressing [Shift] while in an aircraft carrier.

 

Check your settings in World of Warships, you may have accidentally touched that bit.

I've had an issue with CVs too.. But mine is going into the map view(with M) which works fine.. but cannot leave the view. Either M or scrolling on the mouse wheel does nothing to return it back to the main over view.. But I have come to find out it is the Yet another zoom out mod that is the issue.. and could be the issue with you.. or not.

Yet another zoom was one of my likely suspects i tried turning off 1st.

I had it turned off, i like to watch up close sometimes. Turning it on and off had no effect.

Best option so far, is to play CV in safe mode, then restart for other ships.

I would start by removing the mods that have caused the most problems in the past, HP bars on the player panels, ship names in the minimap & custom loading screen and see if you still have the problem.  If you do, continue to remove mods until the problem goes away.  Then start adding mods back in, one at a time until you have the problem again.  Keep in mind that the issue may be a conflict between two of the mods you are trying to use rather than a problem with a single mod.

This issue exists, if you have installed "zoom-mods".

In my case unchecking the mod "yet another zoom-out mod" solved the problem and i could play my carriers as usual.

I remembered something from a few patches ago, that also broke the modpack.

I did a full uninstall and reinstall, instead of regular clean install, and that fixed it.

And for extra safety turned of the yet another zoom out mod.

Ah they joy of finaly being able to manual drop all kinds of ship into submission :D.
