Strings not displaying properly and carousel mod not working.

See the attach4ed screenshot for an example of the string issue.  It looks like the client displays a string ID tag, instead of the text itself.

 

Also, I have "Better ship icons on compact carousel" installed, but I still get the standard contour icons in the carousel (also visible in the screenshot).

 

I have tried "Check and Repair Game Integrity", and the string issue goes away after that, but it comes back when I re-install the modpack.

Take a look at this thread and try removing OTM if you have it:

No, removing OTM had no effect on either of these issue.

Try to remove:

 

         Ship Name Romanization
            without lady commander names

Update 4 fixed the Campaigns text issue, but not the issue with "Better ship icons on compact carousel".  I still get the standard contour icons in the carousel, as shown in the image in my original post.
