  1. Try again after a ModPack is released for the current version of the game. Until then, you will want to uninstall the Aslain ModPack with the Windows Control Panale Uninstall and maybe run a game client file integrity check. If after installing the new ModPack you are still having problems, please upload your Aslain log files along with your problem description in the "Issues & Bugs" forum as described in this post:
  2. Aslain also has the folder named for the Warships version hard coded into the ModPack installer. When the WOWS version number changes, he has to release a new ModPack to update the version number.
  3. OK guys.. We get it.. @Sniper was trying to help. We know when the updates are coming from Wargaming. Usually at least a couple of days before hand. Unfortunately, the ModPack can't be updated until the exact details of what changed are known which only happens after the update is released. My response to Sniper's original post was also directed at everyone else who came here with similar issues/questions.
  4. Every patch by Wargaming requires an update to the ModPack. Be patient, it will come. The compatible ModPack version will be 5.9.0.x. And of course there will be lots of mods that need to be updated by their author before they work and we will learn what other stuff broke as people try to play with the various mods.
  5. Maybe it is something with that replay file.. It loaded, but did not run properly. I just watched one my my replays from this morning though. 20160726_114147_PASB506-Arizona-1941_08_NE_passage.wowsreplay
  6. Replays are not compatible with different major patch versions. For example, if you have a replay recorded with 0.5.6.x, you will not be able to watch them with 0.5.7.x or newer.
  7. I use the dynamic crosshair that comes with the game. I would prefer a different color that contrasts with the scenery better, but it works for me.
  8. After you install the new crosshair mod, you need to go into the game settings and select the crosshair type.
  9. What do you mean by aim assists? You can learn to use the tick marks on the crosshairs to better place your shots on a moving target, but anything automated in the game client to show you where to aim is not allowed by the game manufacturers and will not be added to the ModPack. If you are still learning to aim, this video may help:
  10. There are a couple of links that have been updated and don't have a white line through the text... use one of those links.
  11. Please try again with the new ModPack.. Not sure it will solve your problem, but we don't work on the older packs. This might ultimately be a windows file permissions issue so if you still have the problem with the new ModPack, please read the replies to this posts:
  12. I think he is asking for US Navy ranks to be listed on the other country's captains, eg. calling the first Japanese rank "Ensign".
  13. Wargaming does not read the Aslain forums for advice. Try contacting them directly or posting in their forums at the World of Warships site.
  14. I use the Hakabase icons and haven't had this problem. I don't use any of the hub_lib.swf mods whereas you are installing trap sense. Those should have been fixed to be compatible already though. I suspect that the custom battle loading screen is conflicting. Good news though, there is a newer ModPack than you used with those log files. Trying downloading and installing that and see if your problem still exists. If so, please start a new thread in the Issues & Bugs forum and we will help you figure it out. Be sure to include your .zip file again.
  15. It is hard for us to help you unless you include your log files as described in the pinned post. Also, there are some known issues with some of the contour icon panels and other mods using hud_llib.swf (like sixth sense), but I can't give you specific steps to try without knowing which version of the ModPack you are using and other information we get from the logs. Also, try looking in the release notes for the downloads or the warnings about incompatible mods during the ModPack installation.
  16. A client mod can't help with that because the number of ships ans what ships are available to you is controlled on the server side of your account.
  17. The training room is already an option that the ModPack enables. You however don't earn any XP.. it is merely a place to train either by yourself against bots or with other people.
  18. Thanks for sharing. That is good news. A lot of players really like the ability to see where their smoke is.
  19. I will be more specific.. You said the author wouldn't respond because he hasn't been around lately. I pointed out that we got new code from him in the last couple of days suggesting he is still active. You might try contacting him with a direct message or by leaving a comment on a related post on the WOWS forums.
  20. It may also be that your computer and/or browser are confused and think the file is complete. Try a rebooting and then just downloading the file via the manual link Aslain provided before anything else.
  21. Aslain added some code from him in the ModPack yesterday or the day before.
  22. I think the images are the same and the display size is set in the code used to display the images. Technically, it should be possible to change that size, but I am not a programmer so I don't know how.
  23. @Sniper What are you having issues with? I thought we addressed the problems you were having. Before you respond, you should try the newest version of the ModPack and see if it is still a problem.
  24. Which file are you asking about? The linked file in the post above your question was that users log files for us to look at.
  25. He is referring to the release notes on the download page. Click on the "spoilers/hidden content' button directly below the "Changelog" text. For example: "remainder: all hp bars mods for Player's Panel conflicting with all hud_lib - don't install them together" There are also warning notes for less than perfect mods like the smoke boundaries mod that reminds you that it is less than stable. The corruption after this patch was caused by the smoke circle boundaries mod. It is known that it is not stable, but many people including me have been using it without problems. After this patch, it corrupted files in a manner that prevented the game from starting. It has been removed from the ModPack and is no longer able to be installed.
