  1. Today I tried the 5 different links for the latest modpack for WoT version 1.5 and can only get one of them to work. The others timed out or said that the server was not available. Are the hosting servers overloaded due to the release of the new version of the modpack?
  2. I disagree with some of that. 1. Premium ammo has been available for credits for a long time. I can still make a profit playing the E100 and some other tier 10 tanks firing all premium ammo. I can make a profit playeying lower tier tanks firing mostly premium ammo. I also earned a bunch of gold in the past from clan wars when the gold values of land was higher and from tournaments when tournaments had higher payouts. Before Clan Wars 2.0 showing up 3 nights a week for at least 1 clan wars battle earned me enough gold to pay for premium time for the month in the monthly payout and sometimes still have gold left over. 2. Until recently, most premium vehicles weren't as good as their same tier counterparts. They allowed players to spend money or gold to reduce the time to train crews and earn credits. Even now I can still beat a less skilled Defender or IS-3A driver/player in my IS-6 or IS-3. I used gold from clan wars and tournaments to pay for premium tanks and premium time. In several of the non OP tier 8 premiums I use to be able to sustain a 55-60% win rate over 100+ battles. A Defender or Skorp G won't make a below average player a top tier player all of a sudden. 3. I use to earn a lot of bonds in a short period of time playing grand battles, ranked battles and tier 10 tanks. I've made it to Silver in ranked battles playing tech tree tanks and no clan wars reward tanks. In addition to that, Wargaming gave out several thousand bonds and the T-50-2 to players that have been playing the game for more than a few years. That was enough for many players to buy purple equipment. You don't need to be a no lifer to buy purple equipment. Also some of the crew directives give you almost the same bonus as purple equipment over regular equipment.

When the mod no longer showed the way guns are pointing on the minimap outside of your render distance, Wargaming NA said the mod was legal because it only showed information you could get from teammates in game chat or through TeamSpeak or from a legal zoom out mod. It didn't give you any information you couldn't get from team mates or other legal mods. That was their reasoning behind it the mod being legal. Wargaming changed their position on the legality of the mod several times since then. I got banned for it after two higher level Wargaming NA employees told me it was a legal mod. I contacted the employees that said it was legal and also sent support screenshots from the forum where the Wargaming employees said it was legal. Then Wargaming cancelled the ban and removed the history of the ban from my account so I have no strikes on my account. I think I posted something here about it happening a couple years ago. It all started when I filed a support ticket about a teammate that was making many racist remarks about other teammates in chat and I sent in screenshots. Wargaming was inconsistent about the legality of mods from month to month and from server to server. It wasn't until the fair play policy where they were much more consistent on legal mods.
  4. I tried the latest nightly build of XVM for WoT 1.5(8999) and all the XVM stuff worked in the garage, but the only thing I could get working properly in battle was the over target markers. Others are reporting frequent crashes in battle. Its worth waiting for the mods and XVM to be properly updated.
  5. Like I said in the first post, "The location of the shell velocity mod is right on top of the MPH indicator for the French wheeled vehicles and blocked the numbers that indicate your speed." Its right on top of the numbers in the speedometer on the screen near the aiming circle. Moving it down the screen a bit would help. I'll see if I can manually edit it to move it to an appropriate location.
  6. As I said above, "I don't have log files because I uninstalled the mod pack and reinstalled it without the shell speed mod." It looks like it was the XVM sight, but in the earlier version of the modpack I'm not sure if it was in with the rest of the XVM sight stuff or a separate option below it. I was hoping to keep it on the side and just move it down a little.
  7. I'm not talking about the XVM sight. There is an option in the modpack to enable a mod that shows your shell velocity for whatever ammo you have loaded. It sits right over the speedometer for the wheeled vehicles.
  8. The location of the shell velocity mod is right on top of the MPH indicator for the French wheeled vehicles and blocked the numbers that indicate your speed. I tried clicking on it and dragging the shell velocity numbers with the cursor and that didn't work. Do I need to edit a file somewhere to change the position? I don't have log files because I uninstalled the mod pack and reinstalled it without the shell speed mod.
  9. I had a similar issue a few months ago. The MOE Extended mod and Personal Missions Helperr mod together were causing big FPS drops when both were installed. I uninstalled the MOE Extended mod my FPS went up a little. Using the MOE extended mod alone still caused lower FPS at times but not really low FPS. The Personal Mission Helper mods always caused low FPS at that time. It could be one mod causing the issue or a combination of mods that don't work well together causing the issue. I have a water cooled i7 and water cooled 1080 ti. Even with the 1080 ti at 2101 MHz and both the CPU and GPU temperatures at 40C-50C and neither at 100% usage, I'd still have these issues with those mods installed. Did you try other games to see if they have the same issue? If you saved replays where you had low FPS, when you uninstall the modpack, do you still have low FPS in the replays?
  10. It seems that this issue doesn't happen so far in version 16 of the mod pack, but it happened for me in the previous versions. I tested the Lorr 40t and the T-34-3 and the right click load best crew option finally works on those tanks.
  11. I had the same issue with the Lorr 40t last night. I sent my BC 25t crew to the barracks. Then I did the right click and select load best crew on the Lorr 40t. Nothing happened. I went to the barracks and my BC 25t crew was there. I then selected the M4A1 Rev and did the right click and load best crew. It loaded my BC25t crew and an additional crew member I had in the barracks. The same thing still happens with the T-34-3 when I put send my 121 crew to the barracks. Nothing happens when I right click and select load best crew, but if I select the Type 59 and right click and select load best crew the 121 crew goes into the Type 59. I noticed the same thing happen with a couple other tanks when I have two of the same tank class from the same nation. The same problem happened with two versions of the modpack. Is it possible there is a conflict between mods causing this?

  13. It happened last night with several other tier 8 premium tanks. I wonder if its the hitzone skins I installed to help me complete one of those set tanks on fire missions? I'll install the new version of the modpack today without the hitzone skins to see if that fixes it.
  14. I did some more testing. It works in some premium tanks and not others. Can't figure out why. Doesn't work in T-34-3, but it works in the Type 59. Works in Type 62, but not Type 64. Same for other nations. Works in some but not others. I verified the appropriate crew is in the barracks.
  15. I've tried it on several premium tanks. I'll have a 4 or 5 skill crew of the same nation and tank type in the barracks. When I right click on the empty crew clot and select put best crew nothing happens. No crew is placed in the tank. Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip
  16. Yes its in the c:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\1.3.0.1\audioww\folder, I just get no 6th sense sound. It must be one of the other mods causing the issue. I might just save the MP3 and put it in the C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res\audioww folder and not worry about the sound from the modpack when I reinstall.
  17. I selected the 2nd 10 second timer sound during game installation. When playing the game I have no 6th sense sound at all. User Sound is selected in the game options. All my other game sounds work properly. Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip There is no custom 6th sense sound in the C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res\audioww folder. Is it supposed to be there or somewhere else with XVM?
  18. I installed the latest mod pack and one of the mods I installed was the friends online notification mod. It keeps telling me that all my friends logged into the EU2 server even though I'm on the NA server. Is this an issue with the mod only being designed for the EU server cluster or is an installation issue? Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip
  19. I installed the latest modpack. THe clan icons do not show up in the battle loading screen or players panel or the statistics form or the OTM marker or anywhere else even though I selected the option in the installer to show them. I verified the icons were in: C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\mods\shared_resources\xvm\res\clanicons\NA\clan When I open playersPanel.xc it says: "xvmUserMarker": { "enabled": true, When I open statisticForm.xc it says: "clanIcon": { "enabled": true, So why aren't they showing up? I don't have any XVM errors when starting the game. Everything else in XVM works. Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip
  20. When someone sends me a platoon invite and I accept it the info thing at the bottom right says invitation accepted. However I never am able to actually join the platoon. The platoon window never appears. After that I can no longer join any pub battles. The Battle button is greyed out for every tank in my garage after that. This started with the latest version of the modpack. I accept a platoon invite, but the platoon window never appears: The tank has the crew and ammo, but the battle button is greyed out for all tanks: EDIT: If I go into a different battle mode then back to regular random battles the battle button is not greyed out.   21. I uninstalled the mod pack and reinstalled it with less mods and I still have the issue where the 6th sense sound doesn't start until 5-10 seconds after the icon appears on my screen. Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip
  22. I installed the latest version of the mod pack and still have the same issue. It doesn't happen every time I'm spotted but 1 out of every 3 or 4 times the sound won't start until at least 5 seconds after the 6th sense icon appears.
  23. I attached my log files before I uninstall the mods and reinstall with less mods to see if there is a change in the 6th sense delay sound. I noticed the sound sometimes plays very long after the icon comes on the screen. Aslains_WoT_Logs.zip
  24. I'm getting the same issue with the latest mod pack. THe 6th sense sound it delayed by 5-10 seconds after the 6th sense icon appears. I'm reinstalling with different options now to see if it changes anything.
