  1. Same....All I ever really needed is Smoke Boundries and I like zoom in on scope and wide view as well. I also like having player stats just for extra info about if a player is a pro or casual. I actually just sent Aslain a message saying thanks for all his hard work. I really notice it after a patch and I don't have his mod installed. They bring a lot of extra fun and function and I know that must take a lot of his time....and for free as well. I was amazed he said that it is rare anyone thanks him. That's to bad. More people should message him on here and let him know how much he adds to WoWs. Show a little appreciation. I played WoT since beta and now only WoWs since its open beta and I have used his Mods for 4...5 years now is it? I was just saying that that is also what I download. I bet the VAST majority of people who DL a mod get those. The rest are just about placing the GUI the way you like it. Smoke and Zoom help win games...so does training room and fog remover in some cases.
  2. As far as I'm concerned the smoke screen boundaries mod is by far the most effective and useful mod ever created for WoWs. I use several mods like changing the AP HE shell color, moving things in the GUI around where I like to see them. After SSB the second most useful IMO is the simple yet critical labeling of ships on the mini map (instead of just showing a generic DD or CA BB symbol you get Mahan, Baltimore and Iowa instead with the symbol) as well as showing the last know location of an enemy ship. I can live with out the latter but not having the Smoke borders REALLY effects my ability to play as a gunboat and get the absolute max effect from each smoke screen.....mine and others I scavenge. Whomever came up with that SSB mod is a genius in my book. I really do appreciate all the work the modders do...Aslain and everyone else. You people really make my games so much more enjoyable...and every time I start to forget that Wargaming drops another major patch and I'm reminded...... :-)

  4. I figured the missing mods had more work to be done on them or something. When you don't have them it really makes you appreciate how much it helps to have that information at your fingertips. I don't ever talk about it in chat (ie..that guy sucks ) but I will inform my team that there is one Unicum on the other side that if all things being equal take a shot at him. It also helps me decide what to do sometimes...when in a Pub a player says..hey follow me..I'm going to do this thing you have never heard of. If hes all red and a noob...I take a pass. If he is a decent player with a lot of games...or even just good in that particular ship I will go. I also miss the larger "Spotted" icons...as my eyes are not good and that tiny exclamation point is hardly visible to a Mr Magoo like me....
  5. when I just downloaded the new Aslans I didnt see the option for the "XVM" for player stats...or my favorite mod the tool that tells you in torpedo mode the direction of the enemy on the mini map, where the dead ships are if you prefer...and the other directional indicators. Is that coming soon again? Those were my favorites and very useful. Thanks for all the hard work you do.
  6. Really appreciate the hard work you do to keep the mods updated. Aslain's really increases my enjoyment of the game. Thanks!
  7. the Mini Map. Usually you can see the last known position of an enemy. Also enemy ship type was marked as opposed to just a DD or CV marker you see Derski or Independence. I don't believe I have made any selections of mods that should cause this? I use the mini map transparent mod. Any suggestions? Thanks CyberKnife
  8. That is funny... I just registered to essentially make the same post as above...lol
