Crew names customization

Hello is it possible to make a mod to customize the name of the crews??
In earlier game versions was as easy as to find the file [country]_tankmen.mo and modify, but in this versión I'm trying to do but I'm getting no successful result.
Please could anyone help me on this?

As for your question: Yes, it's possible to customize the names. If you use a mod that changes the files, it complicates things. (Text Extension from YasenKrasen, for example)

 

And if you don't, then you'll find the file you mention just the same as previously:

\World of Tanks\res\text\lc_messages\

They have {country}_tankmen.mo files.

And they'd need to be placed in:

\World of Tanks\res_mods\{VERSION}\text\lc_messages\

Is it possible to change the name for the Stefan Clause commander?

Where are the file with the name? I can't find it

 

The Stefan Clause commander has been assigned to a russian tank, I've change the name Clause in the ussr_tankmen.mo but the name doesn't change ingame so I guess that these "special" crew member have the names in other file.

Stefan Clause is in all 11 tankmen files, it should be using the ussr one if he's recruited as that.

There's no mention of "Clause" in any of the other files.

msgid "names/ny20_men" is "Clause"

and

msgid "names/ny20_menn" is "Stefan"

11 hits on each of those. In those 11 tankmen files.

Just I've to change the name for the Stefan Clause in all 11 files.

Just keep in mind you'll need to update the files if WG adds new things, or you'll see the string names instead ingame :)
