Full WOWS Voice Modpack

The folder includes all the official voices from the game, including, but not limited to: Arpeggio, Azur Lane, Blue Archive, Hololive, Star Trek, TMNT

 

I tested some of them, but obviously there could be some bugs

Installation:

1. Open any of the folders

2. Download the voices you want

3. Place them to %game_folder%\bin\%high_number%\res_mods\banks\Mods

4. (Optional) To make it install every time with an Aslain updater put the voices you want into an empty res_mods/banks/Mods folder structure, archive the top level res_mods and place .zip file into %game_folder%\Aslain_Modpack\Custom_mods

5. (Optional) All names are following internal format, so to change the name into something prettier you can edit  <Name> tag on the 4th line of mod.xml

The "_modded" folder contains a few voice packs mainly Azur Lane (Baltimore, Bismark, Chapayev, Formidable, Itsen, Jean Bart, Littorio, New Jersey, Roon, Sov. Russia, Saint Louis, Zara) that were modified to include the voice lines that are in the game files, but not included in the voiceovers, mainly related to killing and spotting the subs.

 

I am not sure why those files are not included in the official version, so the voice packs in the "Azur_lane" folder are unchanged

UPDATE:
- Cleaned up the file names and display names in the game

- Grouped some collections under Events (Birthday, Christmas, New Year) and Celebrities
- Added voice packs exclusive to the Russian version of the game: Aria, Everlasting Summer, KinDzaDza, Pushkin and SoyuzMultfilm

UPDATE:
- Packed all the files into zips that are ready to be installed with Aslain automatically

 

Individual folder contains a separate zip for each voice
Collections are packs with the whole collection
And megapack has all 281 voices included

 

Installation:

- Put the voices you want into into %game_folder%\Aslain_Modpack\Custom_mods

What are the odds of wargaming approving this? It's not against TOS, but how happy can they be with all the voices ripped from the game?

Is it possible to add collections to the installer as an alternative to full download? Like a list of checkboxes nested under the main mod with at least the most popular ones like AL or ARP, 1.3GB seems too steep since most people wouldn't need all of those voices

P.S. Is there any chance you still have the Steven Seagal VO from this version of the modpack? Can't seem to find it anywhere

In theory, but it's too much to list every single voice over as a separate checkbox in the installer.

Can others hear the voices in matches too?

I feel like they wont which is sad, 
but what is it actually that stops that from happening? if you know and if its the case.

The mod is only modding your client, not the other player's clients. So they won't hear it the way you hear it. Generally speaking.

This might sound weird, but would it be possible to also post the standard voices in addition to the special captain ones?  I want to override all the special voices with the normal English voice.

Sure, I uploaded it to Official VO folder, wouldn't not selecting National do the same thing?

I haven't properly tested it and there is quite some size difference between the archives, so if something is not working please tell me

@Aslain I updated the mod with recent voicelines and also reworked the categories of the voiceovers, which i suggest you include as dropdown in the installation menu

1. Anime - everything anime related, including Arpeggio, Azur Lane, Blue Archive, Highschool Fleet, Hololive and PSPLive (chinese vtubers)
2. Celebrities - voiceover with famous people, including Megadeath, Influencers collab, Dasha Perova
3. Entertainment - voiceovers from popular characters, including: Heroes of Might and Magic, Star Trek, TMNT, Warhammer40000, Popeye, Transformers, King of Fighters, Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Mosfilm
4. Events - original WOWS characters from various events, including all New Year, Christmas, Anniversary and other event characters
5. Russian - all VOs exclusive to the Russian version of the game, including Everlasting Summer, Nu Pogodi, Pushkin Tales and many more
6. Singles - life is like a box of chocolates, all the VO that are not part of collections in game are left as is and there's a mix of different themes

Unfortunately that's not how it works.  National is the only option that overrides custom captains.  If you set it to a single language you'll hear the customs regardless of what language you chose.  It's extremely frustrating.

Been away from WOWS for a while, I added new Azur Lane and a few other new voices, upload should be finished in ~30 mins

Yeah, it does have all of the voices currently in game, anime includes only anime girls, I guess, but sure, i get your point

But would it be possible to create a "National++/Extended" using the VO from the game?

i.e. Use the:

• Korean for Korean ships
• Simplified & Traditional Chinese for PRC & ROC ships
• Ragnar from Sverje or Fredrik Chapman for Swedish ships
• Ragnar from Norge for Norwegian ships
• Nikos Thalassions for Greek ships
• Murat Serezli for Turkish ships

At least to my knowledge it wouldn't be possible as voice mods don't have any variables whatsoever, so it would be the same on all the ships, also all the voices are tied to a commander who is in turn tied to a nation and the national VO is a bit special in that regard, however, when I looked into its files I didn't see anything that would explain that behavior, so I assume it's coded elsewhere, not in the VO files.

 

That being said, it's just my understanding and I could be very wrong

Oh wow, I didn't plan to update the russian game files after the recent events, but that's a good one, I'll do it in a few days

- Revamped the naming scheme for russian voices to follow the global ones
