File fails to extract during installation

Hi, there is a problem about J1mbo countericon. I added a SS about it. If i check the j1mbo countericon under the non-xvm mods part then this warning message comes out at the end of instalation. And it is not fixed even if i do the things that written on warning message. This is happening on v2 and v3. I dont know v0 or v1..

and copy to DL_cache folder, overwrite the old file with the same name, then reinstall the modpack

Starting with the 1.28.0 version, I get the following error after install.  Tried deleting the file and reinstalling.  Re-downloaded installer and still errors.  Everything else works fine.

I discovered these errors are due to the compressed files being "blocked" by Windows (10 64-bit in my case). 

 

Go to the DL_Cache folder, right-click the file, then select Properties. Look at the bottom for a message stating "This file is from a different computer and may have been blocked".

 

Select the "Unblock" checkbox then click OK. Reinstall the modpack and it should work normally.

Having the same problem in the new version 😞 Why i get this error 😞 I start the launcher in administration mode and already disabled microsoft defender and also i've deleted the files written on error message. But launcher downloads jimbo files and its' size is 32 kb . 

 

 

EDIT: I've changed your link to this -> https://repo.aslain.com/WoT/contouricons_J1mbo_TIM_1.28.0.1.7z and downloaded it. And its fixed now. But have to fix it from the launcher i guess. Because the link is a temporarily solution 😞

What version you have in mind, was it v1.28.0.1 #01 ? If so please wipe out your DL_cache folder, or delete this file that is corrupted, then reinstall the modpack, let me know, because in this version of modpack I changed URLs from https to http, and I'm curious if this changed something.

Happened with version #01.

I alread tried it too. I mean i've deleted whole DL_Chache folder and tried reinstall. But i got the same error. Then i changed the link you gave to us, with the new version as i mentioned in comment above and now its fixed. But if i delete DL_Cache and reinstall the mod without downloading the file from link, it is going to give the same error again i guess..

I also re-installed windows 11 too. But it wasnt because of the game. Yet its fixed on me thx :)

Nice, glad to hear that, with the new downloading system I think there shouldnt be anymore problems like that, or at least should be very rare and specific.
