Crew Commander does not have portraits for Commonwealth Ships

When trying to recruit a commander for Gambia, Port Jackson and Caradoc (only ships I tested so far) the portraits are default instead of the modded portraits. I have found that this issue can be somewhat fixed by copy and pasting the Commonwealth folder in crew_commander\base and crew_commander\overlay and renaming the copied folders to India, New_Zealand and Australia. 

Fix applied to Gambia (New Zealand ship).

 

Additionally I think this bug also effects the Female Commander Names mod, as it appears that there aren't feminine names for Indian, New Zealand or Australian captains.
