Internet no longer functions well after rebooting with mods installed

Hello to whomever this concerns,

Since about the 14.5 update, Aslain seems to break my computers ability to receive full WiFi information, as it randomly decides receive or send 0 kbps (seen thru task manager). I remember that in that version of aslain, I decided to break off from my usual setup by removing UI changes & getting the smoke on minimap mod, & I've had trouble since. Around halfway thru 14.6, the solution of just rebooting the PC one more time decided to no longer function. In the 14.7 update, I updated both my windows computer & the game, & my internet worked perfectly. No sudden cutoff of information, or anything. However I decided to reinstall Alsains but I forgot to uninstall (idk if that would do anything but I theorized it was a solution) & after rebooting, my internet currently is in the shitter. Currently, I've uninstalled Aslain from my WoWs folders & deleted the program. I've rebooted multiple times, but the problem persists.

Any tips/help? My internet connection is still strong according to the internet bars & it only affects my PC

idk how important it is to note but I have suffered this problem before with Aslain in my PC, but that was once & it was almost a year ago. It went away & Aslain didn't affect me until now.

Aslain's modpack wouldn't affect your WiFi connection at all.. it doesn't change things outside of your World of Warships folder.

The issue is caused by something else. Could be the router is placed at a bad spot, and what not.. could be interference in the area from other WiFi stuff, if using 2,4 GHz instead of 5,0 GHz.. not sure what else, off the top of my head.

I've cleared the radius around the router yet it still is a problem, pre & post-reboot.

How could it be interference if this wasn't a problem beforehand, as well as being a problem well after removal? Do the mods work by relaying information to & from a server, taking up bandwith? If so why isn't my phone affected? Sorry if this came off as ignorant im js not a complete nerd with this internet shtuff.

Yes I do use 2.4GHz instead of 5.0 as unfortunately it is the only connection I have ever since i changed my modem & rounter, but as I said I'm ignorant to the detailed mechanisms of wifi, so plis enlighten me why aslain would shit the bed with 2.4GHz connection.

Cannot enlighten you on something that just isn't the case.

Aslain's modpack is not affecting your WiFi connection, in any shape or form.

You even said you uninstalled it - so no - Aslain's modpack does nothing in that case.

If any mods exchange data with others - it would only be while the game itself is running - and it would be so little that you'd never really notice it.

In World of Tanks, the package files for statistics mods - which would only get downloaded when starting the game - are less than 2 MB total.

problem resolved: was faulty WiFi card. Replaced it and downloaded the mods and restarted my PC and worked just fine. Simple coincidence i guess.
