It would be great if the hide chat (CTRL K/CTRL O) addon would remember last option

Right now, you need to press CTRL K every single match if you want to hide the chat with this mod. 

 

It would be very good if it would be so that once u disable, the mod remembers the option.

I notice that a mod called No battlechat (beta) was added to the modpack between when this post was made and now. I tried it out today and can provide some feedback. 

 

It doesn't disable the chat. I still see status messages, commands, and so on in the chat. All it seems to do is disable messages written by players (at least it prevents me from entering any). But the game's 'Disable player chat' already does that, so the mod isn't very useful. What would be useful is a mod that disables what the 'Disable player chat' doesn't. The CTRL K/CTRL O mod does that, just doesn't remember the setting.

This is expected, as the mod was released like that, but you can make suggestions to the author if you like. 

 

Mod description: Mod that hides the battle chat without using XVM (currently it only hides the chat window but still allows pings and other notifications)
