Extreme high ping spikes with aslain installed

Hello,

 

I will be playing for hours, with no issue. Then suddenly, I will lose control of my ship. Keys will not respond. I cannot shoot, turn, or chat. the game continues to play without my input. Eventually, I may get all control back, but sometimes I won't. when i do get control back, it could be after 15-20 seconds or I won't at all. i sometimes will get it back temporarily, only to lose the controls again. Eventually, the game will disconnect. When i reenter the game, I return to the state I was in.

I reboot the computer, log back in, same issue. I have updated the NVidia drivers to their latest version. I've ran the game in safe mode right after experiencing the issue, but the same thing happens. Again, this happens randomly, I've played with nothing else running to try to rule out other apps that may impact it.  I've run ISP speed tests, I'm running at 300mbps.

 

My current work around is to turn off my computer and come back another time. Sometimes, like yesterday, i will go all day without issue. then, suddenly, out of nowhere, mid game, lose control. can't shoot, cant turn, can't chat, etc... i see others chat and game play, i just cannot contribute until i get control back, if i do.

 

It turns out, I am getting very high ping spikes at times during my game. My ping will go over 2k at times.  It will last for several seconds at a time, especially when i am in a critical part of my game it seems.

 

Today was the patch update, so I ran the game for hours, about a dozen games without any mods. I had absolute ZERO ping spikes the entire day.  I then install the aslain updated mod pack and boom, there it is again, first game played.  So now i am certain it is something in the mods that is causing my ping spikes. 

 

Has anyone else had these issues or know which mod may be causing this?
