Bancu Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Hello, i am an onslaught player and i normally use the mod arcade zoom out 400m, but after patch 2.2 this mod gets applied when i use a plane or use a strike in onslaught so its really hard to aim the plane and strike because its zoomed out so much when i use them, this didnt happen before patch 2.2, it could only happen if i installed the mod "spg zoom out" on purpose. Could this arcade zoom out get fixed please, to its prepatch 2.2 phase so its only applied to arcade and not to spg aim. Thanks Quote

Administrator Aslain Posted March 13 Administrator Posted March 13 Do you have this issue without mods? Logs were checked, nothing wrong was found there. Additionaly the author of PMOD (your zoom out for spg) said he didn't change anything related to it, so it must be not it. Quote
Bancu Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 ok well i tried now without any mods and with mods, and i also went and got 2 replays, first replay the short one is without mods and the 2nd one is with mods, and as u can see in the screenshot of the aslain intsaller i only have the "arcade mode" zoom out checked and it somehow applies both to plane and strike view in onslaught, this didnt happen before the 2.2 patch. in the first replay u can see when i use plane its not zoomed out but in the 2nd one for some reason it is zoomed out to the max in both plane and strike mode, and this makes it a bit hard to aim the plane and strike fast and be precise looking only at the minimap. and like i said before this patch if i wanted to have max zoom out in plane and strike mode i would check the "zoom out in spg mode" in aslain but i never did it, now its just by default somehow, if u need more testing or something u can tell me 20260313_1846_germany-G125_Spz_57_Rh_18_cliff.wotreplay 20260313_1843_germany-G125_Spz_57_Rh_18_cliff.wotreplay Quote

Bancu Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 ok did some more testing and it has to be the aslain arcade zoom out in some way, i did a full clean install of mods and installed only the zoom out in arcade 400m in old skool mod and it worked how it should ( i wasnt zoomed out in plane mode ) and then i did the exact same thing and installed only the arcade zoom out 400m in aslain nothing else and it didnt work. Bancu Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 i mean as i said with the test i did 15 minutes ago, i installed from aslain only the zoom out mod "arcade zoom out 400m" and the problem was still there, i think if u go into a training room onslaught game with only that installed it will happen to u also when u use plane because it happened to some of my teammates also. I also tought it might be a problem of more mods together thats why i tried only with the zoom out installed and the problem was still there. The steps are, u install the "zoom out in arcade mode 400m away max" and then u can just go into an onslaught training room and play any light tank with the plane ability and use the plane anytime and it should be zoomed out to the max for some reason, it also applies to strike usage, so if u take a strike in onslaught and u try to use it it will be really zoomed out when u use it. 1 Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 14 Administrator Posted March 14 Thanks for the cooperation. The issue has been identified and is most likely fixed,it will be included in the next modpack. It turned out to be a configuration matter rather than a bug in the pmod. When I was updating the configs, I left the artillery zoom‑out setting the same as in the pmod default config, assuming it was the game’s default. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Quote
