Running Win 10 Pro All my software is checked for update daily as I am a Retired IT Manager Ran WOWS Repair and it found no problems. Even disables all my security software an still can not install latest Modpack. Anybody have any ideas??? Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted March 17 Administrator Posted March 17 What happens when you cannot do it? It's a local issue, either corrupted download or your windows av etc. If you don't see anything check your windows events to find out what happened. Quote
Geekster123 Posted March 18 Author Posted March 18 When I click on the flie nothing happens. I do not even see it in Task Manager or System Explorer which will show me everything Task Manager does not. I will get the same problem if I disable all security software including Antivirus program Defender and disable any security services running in service manager on Win 10 Pro. Checking the Windows Application and System event logs I only get the usual VSS, DCOM and TPM errors that I have gotten for years. Last night I downloaded v15.2.0 #06 and it worked. Modpacks #4 and #5 did not work. I get this problem every now and again. It happens only about 5% of the time. Then after a few new version updates to the Modpack it will work. I can only assume it is the Modpack as I can not think of what else would cause this problem. Next time I will follow what to do on your "How to report a bug or issue" website link. As a computer geek I would like to find out the cause of this ocassional problem. Thanks for your speedy reply to my issue. I wish I could have found the "How to report a bug or issue" link earlier.
