Moderator Theolitius Posted April 29 Moderator Posted April 29 this is a new feature Aslain worked hard on, if you press YES it will automatically update the mod pack to the latest version. If there is ever a situation where you want to change your mod config, click NO then it will open like the old ways. Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted April 30 Administrator Posted April 30 Your screenshots and logs look correct. You didn’t confirm the download of the new modpack, you accepted auto‑update on the installer that had already been downloaded. That’s why the auto‑update ran, exactly as designed. If you wanted to adjust any settings, you should have selected NO rather than auto‑update Quote
joel9507 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 This is a very nice feature! Thank you! Quick question on logic of the auto update, in the case where one or more of your mods isn't in every release of the mod pack. Scenario: Say you had three mods - A, B and C - and then a new WoT patch comes out. In this scenario, say for the first modpack release for that patch Mod B isn't ready but A and C are. So, when you download and install that first modpack release, obviously one can only get the ones that are actually in the modpack - i.e. A and C. Question: Does the auto update logic track the missing mod B on its own and put it in when/if B gets added back into the modpack? Quote
Administrator Aslain Posted May 5 Administrator Posted May 5 it don't track it, you have to pay attention to the changes and react manually. @joel9507 Quote
