Installation Error

Hi,

my actual mod-pack version is v2.2.1.2 #00. Yesterday i have tried to install the latest mod-pack version #07 (downloaded from aslain.com).

The installer is starting and after the language selection screen i got the following error:

Pop-Up Window

Runtime error (at 179:124):

External exception E06D7363.

I have tried to re-download the file, also download from wgmods and also tried version #06 (wgmods). No success, the same error.

Than i have tried to install my actual version #00 again, and this is working.

So, i think something is changed in the installer between version #00 and ??.

What can i do now? Is there a alternate installer available or a zip file?

Best regards

jay

It will be hard to check I'm affraid. Tell me details about your system, user priviledges, hardware, operating system. Launch it again, until you see this error and make a screenshot and attach here, it should cover the installer window + error. Close the installer, go to %temp% folder and find the newest file (datestampt) that looks like this Setup Log 2026-05-08 #008.txt, it will have different date and number, attach here.

And no, there will be no alternatives for you from me.

No, i can see the installer GUI. After the language selection screen (i use german, but have also tried english) i click on next, than this error window is coming.

At this time no other window from the installer is opened and by clicking OK, the application is closed completely. Also no installer-process in the task-manger is visible.

You didnt show me, I asked for full picture, not just error picture 🙂 I need to see everything. In the next modpack I will re-compile the DLL I use, maybe it will help it somehow, if nothing helps, I may return to an old dll.
