evpasaro Posted May 23 Author Posted May 23 It is a very weird crush again: at one point in the battle, there was still video frame, but I was still in the battle and could command the ship - just couldn't really see anything, only to hear they were shooting at me and sinking me. Quote

I'm having the same exact issue. 1 Quote

I will post my logs asap. Sorry for the worthless post I was just happy I wasn't alone in this issue. Quote
Cartman Posted May 23 Posted May 23 I just had the same issue, the screen froze but the game was apparently still running. After killing the task the game immediately crashed when re-entering the battle. Only without mods I was able to get back in. The attached Python Log contains the additional login attempts, the first crash is up to line 648. python.log_Aslains_WoWs_Modpack_Exported_Settings.reg_Aslains_Installer_CompList.log_Aslains_Installer.log Quote

Try without Consumables Monitor mod. Have you met in the battle one of that new ships? TTaro said he probably identified the issue, and is waiting for game devs, and it's a weekend, so probably fix not before monday. Quote

That must have been the last crash before starting without mods, the .crash files are from 13:00:50, 13:01:38 and 13:02:38 Looking into the PythonLog I too thought it might be related to the consumables monitor. When the screen froze I had activated my radar a few seconds before (Cleveland on Sunset Isles map / arms race). Regarding the ships there was nothing new in the battle, the newest ships were two Chios and a Deutschland. So no fancy consumables. I checked if the replay works with mods (from the point where I got back into the game without mods) and it does not crash. One thing I noticed is that the consumables monitor does not work when watching a replay. But I'm not sure if this has always been the case, some mods behave that way as they rely on information from the server. I was not able to reproduce the frozen screen or crash in the training room. Since this did not happen before in over 25 battles since the patch, I'll just make a second mod installation without consumables monitor and if it happens again I'll restart the game with that set of mods and see if it does not crash. Cartman Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Someone on the WoWS Discord confirmed that after removing consumables monitor he was able to rejoin the battle. Quote
