Request to Add Mods from the Discontinued Armor Modpack

Hi,

The author of the Armor modpack has announced that it will no longer be maintained or updated. It included several very useful mods that I would really like to continue using in the Aslain modpack.

I'm not sure whether some of the .wotmod files are protected against modification or redistribution, but if it is technically and legally possible, perhaps some of these mods could be adapted or integrated into Aslain.

 

1. Account Manager
   This was one of the most useful mods. I attached a screenshot showing its description and interface (the screenshot is in Russian).

   • armor.accountsManager.wotmod – this is the version from the Armor modpack that I managed to save, but for some reason it does not work together with Aslain's modpack (possibly because of compatibility or some kind of protection).

   • accounts_manager_1.32.0.wotmod – this is another version I found online, and it works correctly.

2. Roentgen Detector

   • armor.roentgenDetector.wotmod
     I also managed to save this mod from the Armor modpack. It would be great to have it included.

3. Server Ping & Population Display
   Armor had a very convenient mod that displayed server ping and online population both on the login screen and in the garage. Unfortunately, I only have screenshots of it and could not find the corresponding .wotmod file, even though I saved all of the Armor mods. I may simply be unable to identify it by filename.

4. Camouflage Removal Mod
   It would be great to include the camouflage removal mod that was available in the ProTanki modpack. The current LimpidStickers mod included in Aslain works inconsistently and is not as convenient to use.

5. Disable Camera Scroll Inertia & Camera Sway
   It would also be nice to have options to disable camera scroll inertia and camera sway. I know Aslain already includes similar options for disabling screen shake and the red damage flash, but these additional camera options would be appreciated.

6. Improved Fog Removal
   It would be great to add a mod that completely removes fog, including the fog outside the playable map area. The current fog removal option in Aslain does not remove the outside-map fog.

   I also noticed that when using the Black Sky option together with disabling sun glare, one particular map becomes partially yellow because of the sunlight effect. I did not experience this issue with another weather mod before, and I believe it may be related to Hawg_weather.wotmod.

7. Additional Spotted Indicators in the Team List
   Aslain already includes several spotted indicator styles, but it would be great to have more options, such as the "Dots" style shown in the attached screenshot.

 

I hope you will consider adding these mods and, if possible, adapting them to work properly with the Aslain Modpack. It would also be great if you could help identify or recreate the correct .wotmod files that I was unable to find and provide.

I would also like to suggest a few more mods/features that could be added:

1. Shots to Kill Indicator
   A mod that adds an indicator showing how many more shots are required to destroy a vehicle while keeping the original HP display. An example of how it looks can be seen in the attached screenshot.
2. Session Statistics
   It would be great to include different session statistics mods from authors such as Meddio and others. As far as I know, these statistics are already available in PMod, so it would be nice if users could choose which version they want to use directly from the Aslain Modpack.
3. Mouse Sensitivity Numeric Values
   A mod that adds numeric values next to the mouse sensitivity sliders, making it much easier to fine-tune settings and, most importantly, reproduce the exact sensitivity later.

4. Additional Files
   I have also attached roentgenDetector.json and armor.roentgenDetector.wotmod, as I forgot to include them in my previous post. roentgenDetector.json armor.roentgenDetector.wotmod
