ralfy
I am getting 200 KB/s. It takes around 1.5 hours to download around 1 GB of mods. Quote Link to comment
Grimsek
Temporarily, is it possible to chose another server with an Install Command keyword or else (Hosts file, ...) ? ok resolved using a VPN connexion on US Town... if you handle one. :) Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted February 6, 2019 Administrator Share Posted February 6, 2019 I'm basicaly being spammed by people compaining at super slow downloading. I cannot reproduce I can download at full speed. It must me some weird issue with bad routing. Maybe the admin can tell more or check it @TTimoNN Quote Link to comment
Bavor
Today I tried the 5 different links for the latest modpack for WoT version 1.5 and can only get one of them to work. The others timed out or said that the server was not available. Are the hosting servers overloaded due to the release of the new version of the modpack? Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted May 2, 2019 Administrator Share Posted May 2, 2019 Yes there are. Try again later or keep trying to retry. Quote Link to comment
TreeShepherd
I got a 403 error since the last update. I changed my wifi hardware, it's maybe from that. Which port have I to open on my wireless routeur ? EDIT : i tried by using my smartphone internet connection and not my house connection : same issue. Perhaps not from my new wireless routeur (that I put in bridge mod). Edited May 6, 2019 by TreeShepherd Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted May 6, 2019 Administrator Share Posted May 6, 2019 It's a local issue, either your firewall or antivir. Recently reported errors 403 were causes by antivir. So start checking from there. Quote Link to comment
TreeShepherd
Local indeed. My antivir NOD32 (that I didn't touch recently) decided that I didn't need your pack anymore. Solved. Thx. Quote Link to comment
MightyDalton
1.9.0.2 installer cannot download mods. Quote Link to comment
Moderator Quaksen Posted May 4, 2020 Moderator Share Posted May 4, 2020 Everyone is trying to do the same thing as you = things will die or be very slow. Just have patience. Quote Link to comment
Demtrek
It downloaded for me, just took about 15 mins, usually takes 3 mins. Quote Link to comment
Administrator Aslain Posted May 4, 2020 Administrator Share Posted May 4, 2020 No point to report it, really, wait or try again. 1 Quote Link to comment
MGFranks
For me it was some particular mods that would not download, after several tries. I unchecked the ones that were giving trouble and it went through. Quote Link to comment
crash74
i unchecked all the tanks skin and still timed out lol Quote Link to comment
kolkhoznik666
would it be quicker if you set a user limit or smth? then it would go through like a queue or smth and atleast someone would be able to download something instead of all users just 0kbs... and it even downloaded the largest file that was selected (240mb; didnt show the final file size trho, it just downloaded current amout), but then just started all over again with just scrolling around.... Athunt
I've had no issues before with Aslain mod pack installs ( Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.1.9.0.1_08.exe just two days ago), but with Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.1.9.0.2_00.exe it's struggling. Ages for some downloads and now an error: Download failed: Bad gateway (502) Check your connection and click 'Retry' to try downloading the files again, or click 'Next' to continue installing anyway. Right now it's struggling with HDMinimapSpaces_1602.7z Either it's gone so smoothly in the past I'd not noticed the per-item progress bar, or that is new ? Athunt
I'm encountering this as well. It used to maybe take a minute or so to download what I have configured, now it's hanging, going slowly, and I even got a 502 Bad Gateway error once so far, so am in the middle of a Retry. A total of two Retry clicks later and it's now installed. Edited May 4, 2020 by Athunt Got there in the end Quote Link to comment
SoftwareSimian
It's definitely a behaviour I haven't seen before. I tried an hour ago and it was just hanging as per the original post. Now it's instant HTTP-502 response to both HEAD and GET requests from the installer. Incidentally, the installer should probably check that the HEAD request to check the content filesize doesn't result in a 4xx/5xx error (which would return an invalid filesize of 0), and if the DLC server does return an error on HEAD it should abort immediately and not attempt to GET the content. Naturally this is a transient problem (due to server overload I presume) but I've not seen it before. After 10-15 mins of consistent 502 errors the server came back online and let me install the modpack successfully. Edited May 4, 2020 by SoftwareSimian Quote Link to comment
kolkhoznik666
so can it be fixed somehow plz, its rather annoying... now it downloaded 2-3 small things and then went into Bad gateway (502) loop... Quote Link to comment

Eventually the surge of users will stop overloading the server and you'll get your modpack installed. Edited May 4, 2020 by SoftwareSimian Quote Link to comment
TheMajor66
It cannot be installed now either the Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.1.9.0.2_00. See attached image. The installation strip goes from left to right and after 10 minutes there is nothing. Please have a new one. Quote Link to comment
javlin007
I am getting this when I start the download process - Well, it looks like everyone is having the same problem. I will try again later. Edited May 4, 2020 by javlin007 Quote Link to comment

vipercann
i think it's not about server load or antivirus programs. because i installed all of your mods within the same circumstances. not downloading anything, 0,00 kb/s does not makes sense. Quote Link to comment
