I'm gonna go on record and say the German Hydro-acoustic search gives away beached ships, i.e. no prop wash. On more than one occasion I've seen the smoke pop, hit my hydro-acoutsic-pancake-maker-dog-declawer and found the enemy DD beached, quietly, until I put a few rounds in them and then the classic "Hakorz!" cry slips across the blue Aslain-enlarged ocean waves.....

Europe's update to 0.5.5.1 is tomorrow morning (in something like 15 hours or so)

I need to remember to check the Euro WoWs site. They are much better in giving important info like update scheds and patch content.

Control-Click answered a bunch of performance questions for me. Seems no matter how often I go looking for examples and play commentary, I ALWAYS learn something new. It's a shame all those ALWAYS have yet to add up to me being a decent player, but my love for the game keeps me coming back.

I absolutely cannot wait for the lvl 5 control-click secondaries. Since I tend to specialize in BB's I can only imagine it is a slaughter. A lone DD who gets with 10km of a Yammy is snap-crackle-pop for sure. Sure wish the xp spread for captains gaining additional points wasn't quite so big after 10 or so.

An article from Wargaming Magazine. I do not have the publish date. German pocket BB's this fall and into next year, followed by Brit, French Italian and Chinese in the order he mentions them.

The key point is they are both money makers and well worth the purchase if you are a consistent WoWS player. About the only way I could fund playing my TIX-X ships is with these premiums. I find the Tirp brings in more money, as she is more of a damage dealer all things being considered, since both ships sport nasty torps.

I don't like the idea of auto update. Many of the updates are not related to the mods I am using so I often skip new versions. Having an auto update will force me to download every new version even if I don't need it thus increasing my download rate/internet cost

+1 ... also sometimes one mod breaks another which is fixable of course, but not something I care to deal with if I'm on a short notice to play (teams). Of course if the auto-update were an option, this argument is moot.

I can confirm Extended Tech Tree broke session stats... I've just reinstalled with a clean and cache wipe without it and Session Stats are back.

Found out that "Extended Tech Tree (adds hidden/unavailable ships to tech tree)" is conflicting with Session Stats

What is it with you guys lol.

I'm talking about session stats. It's a tab that shows up in port alongside the notifications and battle tabs, you know, the little "i" in the lower right of the screen while in port. It sums up all battle stats for that session.

The damage done mod simply shows a tally of the total damages listed in that particular battle, before exiting to port (or if you go back to look at that battle again before logging off).

I believe session stats post-game sums it up.

I would like to post that info but my AV deleted the file and rebooted my system. I can not find it back in the history.

I thought I download the old installer to run it through virustotal but it is not listed in the old installer download section despite it being listed in the download topic.

 

Like I started out with, I know it is probably a false positive but I think it is important to report these things as not everybody "just trusts" this site

 

the fact it is not in the old downloads page however tells me something definitely was wrong with it ;)

It is always that file... that's the executable.

 

It's not on the old download page because it is obsolete, and contained mods that were not properly functioning with 0.5.3.1

 

That is an old version of the mod by the way. And, since Aslain sets up the link thru his server, if it is a virus you'll have to blame him. All you're doing is either scaring people who don't know any better or trolling. Next time send a private message to Aslain, he responds promptly.

 

 

 

Several A-V's do... it's fine.

Works fine for me... double check that you selected (tic marked) that mod. There are two damage display mods, one is post battle in the results screen which simply shows damage total. The other shows game clock and cumulative damage for the battle you are currently fighting.

Make sure you are using mod 0.5.3.1.07. I use both of these damage related mods and they both work fine. I see damage and clock in-battle. At the end of a battle I see the combined total damage tallied at the bottom of the damage column.

I forgot to add, make sure you do a clean install and clear the cache.

Anyone not seeing the session stats tab post-game?
