As you said it's not working without mods then I need to ask stupid questions:
Do you have 6th sense perk on your T55a commander?
Is he 100% trained in that skill?
Are your T555a crew 100% proficiency?
Side notes:
6th sense doesn't work when your commander is inured, (I believe)
6th sense is not instant, it only lights up after about 3 seconds,Remember that if you are continually lit, 6th Sense will not activate again until you go dark, and are once again spotted,

I believe it's so you can use a game controller instead of mouse/keyboard Aslain.
But this isn't part of the pack so Aslain can't assist DaCaptain, Best try try xpadder website/support.

I do this religiously with every mod pack update. My AV does a 15 second scan on launch and it works every time. (windows 10 also)

We can't tell what's up without logs. Please attach.

Most of your mods will corrupt if you just rename the folder because every other file within is still referencing old version numbers.
Some will work but only the ones using the configs/mods folders, not the 0.9.17.0.3 folder.
Best to either play without mods for the time being or wait for mod pack update. I'm sure Aslain is working hard to get it done.

False positive for a file that re-names folders within your mod directory, AV's are right to flag this as it 'can' be used maliciously, but I can guarantee Aslain is not using it that way, it's just for installing mods.

I believe it means ' XMQP enabled + Not been spotted this game', turns yellow when spotted and grey when un-spotted (but has been seen in game)

(Might not work but it's worth a try, I do this for every mod pack as it's helped me in the past.)
Failing that, you're going to need to install mods one by one and test each time to see what's causing the conflict. Which can be a long process depending how many mods you use. GL!

Is this just linked to wot and nothing else? Reason I ask is it's possible your scroll wheel has dirt/hair inside it? This happens and stops/limits functionality sometimes.
Try clean it out.

IF you were to get flagged for using 'illegal mods' you'll get a 7 day ban/warning before being permanently banned.
Most would take that as a warning and not use any mods until there's more clarification on the subject mod they were using.
It is fair, as you get a warning and are not instantly banned perm for first offence. (some games do that)
OP also hasn't shared logs so there's no way to tell he's using 100% aslains pack and/or outdated mod pack.

2 ban waves have been in wot since FP. Not seen anyone banned for using Aslains pack. I use AA+ and not had any warnings/bans myself.
Are you sure you're not using something besides aslains pack? or using an outdated mod pack? (post logs/python so we can check)

Managed to get about 40 games in before it happened again yesterday. Crashed around 00:30 - 00:50 GMT if I recall.

Try this: (might work)
Find the mod pack and right click on it:
Go to 'Properties' > Check the 'unblock' box > Go to 'Compatibility' tab > Check 'run as administrator'
Install mod pack as normal and test.

No worries, that's why I asked this morning if anyone had reported it to you. I'll try narrow it down to a single/couple mods when I get a chance and it still does it. It's just arty when going into Birdseye view (WG'S aim, though I have +60m zoom and BA installed too), stalls for 30s-1min normally then kicking me to login screen, when I come back into the active game all XVM stats are inactive too.
I'll update here if I find out more, or if a future update fixes it.

Chrome, at least, don't know about the other browsers, can easily stop those popups, like you mention, letting you close the page.
It was talking about windows being out of date, blahblah, click this link to fix, and what not, lol.

I noticed this myself, it's a script that pops up and claims your pc is locked and when you close it, another opens. (really annoying lol)
But just click the 'prevent this page from creating further scripts' box and hit close.
Cannot install the mod at all. (Not a problem with mod!)

Sounds like a permissions issue, certain files/folders need admin privileges to write to.
My general rule of thumb for installing mod pack is as follows
1) Download pack.
2) Right click on the mod pack installer and go to properties, bottom of tab should be 'unblock'
3) Go to compatibility tab and tick the 'run as administrator' box and hit apply.
4) Install mod pack.
I'd also try disabling smart screen filter if that fails as it could be that too. (can always be turned back on after if you'd like it on)
