  1. Background: First off, in general, crew retraining shows "80% qualification" on the credit retraining for the same type the crew is rated on. (I forget if this happens with mods or without--I noticed it about 3 major revisions ago). That is the first flag that something is going on, modless or not.

    Issue:

Aslain I have a *huge* potential bug. I retrained an IS-7 loader the other night with *GOLD*, and he lost nearly all his crew exp on the remaining point (it was almost 99%, dropped 34k or so to about 98% flat). After a long exchange with the ever-untalkative, paste-log-and-don't-explain-anything WGA support, it appears I retrained him for free and in the same instant (so it had to be by script), retrained him with gold. WGA said to "kindly remove your modsas it could be messing with the game's UI."  Any ideas which mods these are? I have the timestamp courtesy of WG staff, if you think any game logs have that info: (2018-02-19 21:21:27)

  2. Yes, I did it the first time even though it had been only a week or so since installing. However, just before posting now I found this error in garage:

    >   www.modxvm.com XVM 6.5.1.1 (6963) Network services inactive. enable

When you click on that it merely takes you to this description page:

    http://www.modxvm.com/en/network-services-xvm/

Then I have to log in at the top, and you can see that everything is selected:

    UPDATE:

Wow, %#* that $(*#. This looks like a bug with the XVM website.

On the basis that radio/check buttons often don't send a command until you click them, and were just showing old settings, I unchecked the "XVM services" checkboxes and then re-checked them, and disconnected and re-connected to an NA server. Unbelievably, the error message doesn't show in-game now. Unreal.

    SOLVED

  3. As said before in the chat, I cannot see player info in game or garage (colors, etc.) since 9.17 came out. I have done clean install, clear DLC cache, and reset game settings and cache with the last two or three modpack updates. None have worked in this regard.

See solution below. XVM website has un-refreshed checkboxes you need to manually un- and re-check.
