Has anyone seen this? Is it a challenge with the mod pack or a WOT bug?? I do not use any aiming mods but have attached the logs either way.
When firing from sniper mode, I sometimes get a explosion in the ground in front of me as if I was aiming into the dirt. It doesn't always happen (about 50% of the time). It has happened with several different tank types. I can tell that it doesn't seem to effect the shot however. I still hit the target I am aimed at. Also, the tracer disappears.
Now a buddy and I went into a training room where he observed me shooting. He did not see the ground explode and he saw my tracer. So it seems to only be effecting the person who fired the round.
The issue showed up after the WOT mini-patch this past week (wee of 2/11/18).
I took a screen reporting to show the issue. Sorry for the higher res; I am not sure how to share the screen any better.

YAY!! All fixed! I tried two different crosshairs and both worked!
Attaching logs just cause.

Well that worked. Kinda.
I turned off aim circle completely. Obviously the issue is not corrected but this is a better workaround than my previous config.
I do appreciate your help with this!

Is it an in game setting maybe??

Just did a fresh install. Same result. I will try another aim circle.
Not sure if the log shows, but I am running the HD version; not sure it matters.

Same issue as before. No change. This happened with modpack #06; fresh install from today.

Any chance the XVM bug fix will allow us to use crosshairs again? I will try tomorrow. Any found another work around?

I installed #4 and so far so good! 15+ Games.

Same issue here after today's modpack released. It was happening yesterday as well. I believed I had uninstalled the needed components to bypass the issue but its still happening. Logs attached.

So I removed all Crosshair Mods and the issue is gone. I previously tried another crosshiar and had the same issue. So at this moment, I can either play with a crosshair and NO arty or play with no crosshair and play with arty.

That's the crosshair I use. Let me try turning it off.

So I tried a different crosshair and it resulted in the same result above. New Crosshair = Minimilastic

Same issue here. It has happened with any arty I play with since the update. I can drive and fire fine but the moment I press LShift, the game is no longer responsive. It does not freeze as I can still see tanks moving (being destroyed), driving, team chat, etc. It simply becomes unresponsive. Also it seems that the mouse also leaves 'windowed' mode of the game. Odd.

FWIT - This issue seemed to have disappear overnight. I updated to the newest version of the mod pack (at that time) and the issue resolved itself. So whatever was the problem, it was quickly resolved.
