I guess selecting the mod port doesn't add the line to the preferences file.

I have the same problem.  I did change it.

Hello.  I'm getting the 404 File Not Found error again while running the installation wizard.  This time for the newest version of Garfield's Lady Commanders.

I disabled all my minimap mods, and that fixed the problem.  One of my clan mates was having the same issue, but he was not using the ship names mod.  I was, though.

This is what happens every time I start a battle.  The audio of battle start/action stations/whatever plays, but it stops if it's more than a couple of seconds.  The interface doesn't load completely and the game freezes.  I get an unhandled exception error and a game crash.  I'm experimenting trying to figure out what specific mod is the culprit.

When installing the modpack, I get to Garfield's Lady Commanders and get a 404 file not found error when it tries to download the file for installation.  I have tried retry several times.  I have re-downloaded the modpack a few times.  I've had this problem for several days now.
