How do you know mxstat is safe? Is that simply what the author of mxstat told you, or did you discover the cause of the false-positive indications yourself?

Is there any more detailed information about this, or do I just have your word to go on?

Windows popped up with an alert regarding a trojan by the name of Occamy.C. The notification says that mxstat.exe was affected. Whether this means the malware was hidden within MxStat or MxStat was a victim of Occamy, I do not know. I have quarantined the affected files. Please let me know if you have any information on this subject.

I've installed the Historical Proportions flags mod, Imperial Japan variant and found that it replaces the texture for the International Workers' Day flag with that of the Project VALOR: Family Flag.  The problem disappears when the game is run in safe mode. I'd inform the mod author myself, but I don't have a CIS account.
