It seems that in the "Panels & Windows (in-battle)" tab, you have selected "Large" as the default option:
Players Panel
Medium panels (default)
Medium: short player's names
Large panel
Large: Advanced (both overal & individual tank stats)
Start mode
Start mode: large (WoT default) <-------------------------------------------
maybe changing that will help?
