  1. Strangest thing. I went to uninstall wot to make clean install and realized I had 2 games, one listed with a (2) next to it, but not the other. I expanded and found they were identical in files. I uninstalled both of them, reloaded the game. I finally got "NA Client" when I installed the mods. No problems now. Never saw where 2 games with the same title could exist.

  2. I've tried #1 and #2, both clean installs and get the same problem. It reads "no client detected" in red. I go ahead and go through the choices (as I have for 9 or 10 years), launch the game and it comes up "vanilla". I'll try again tomorrow. You are correct, either modpack leads back to same .exe. I appreciate you answering me. I'll leave donation either way tomorrow. Thanks.

There was nothing rude in what was said, if you're talking to me.

And as for "game resource path" - it's because you're installing the wrong modpack version, and thus it deletes the correct versioned folder, you can avoid clean installing the game, by manually creating the missing folders stated in the error message.

If you're refering to OldGaf, it makes sense. If it's towards me, not so much.

I was only referring to OldGaf. Poor guy. I read his remark. He was apparently the only one to have a bad day. I was only asking what the problem was/ me or you. The answer should have been me and you. Me, because I'm loyal to a fault, and I never in 5 or 6 years came up against that particular set of circumstances; and you, for putting mods out there that look like they are usable. I disregarded the alerts BECAUSE I never had a problem like that  come up in the house of Aslain. You guys simply dissed me for looking stupid. Thanks. It seems like if you were experiencing (according to the other guy) problems with people "all day" due to the #'s not matching. Couldn't you simply lined the choices out. I've seen that before. I shouldn't tell you how to handle things. Next time I'll just wait a week, check back, wait another week, check back, repeat. It's been fun, having to explain myself. The game is almost as much fun, even though for 8 years I've been the worst player ever, but, it gives me some giggles. Again, thanks.

  4. This is what I get: After clean install, go into the game "vanilla", I get- "you are running the latest game version 1.9.1.2065. Then I go into Aslain's WoT download for World of Tanks 1.9.0.3. , Aslain's WoT ModPack v.1.9.0.3 #8, download #2 (direct). At this point I get an alert - "Attention: Unsuitable game client version detected. This ModPack is made for 1.9.0.3 only!" When I select "OK", I am into modpack area (NA Client). When I make selections and move to " Completing the Aslain's WoT ModPack Setup Wizard", then select "FINISH". Then try to enter game, I get "Game resource path does not exist: D: World_of_Tanks_ N/A res_mods/ 1.9.1.0" at which point, I can't get into game.

I am doing everything I  do everytime I do a clean install for a new update of this type. Should I submit a support ticket?

  5. After the last update (v.x.x.x.1), WOT game won't let me in stating no common thread to v.x.x.x.3 modpack. I don't remember how to go vanilla. I don't think it's anything I'm doing wrong. I'm doing everything as I have for the last 5 or 6 years. If it's WOT's problem, is there any word on the time it will take to rectify?

  6. Yes, it is accurate, that other people around me in battle obviously had the "T" mod and it was working for them, while my tank was getting eliminated, shot by shot. I couldn't shoot and back-out. I know my keyboard works, no problem with "t" key. I'll keep trying. Maybe brand X? No, can't bring myself to steering away from one I've been using for years. But, then again, I don't relish the "complete termination" at this point, of the game itself.

  7. As usual, you were correct. I had both selected. Problem now is, even though I have the "T" selected, when I use it in battle, it doesn't do a thing. Sooooo, since this morning I've tried several times to make sure it was selected and just like you predicted it was. Then I redo the mods as per usual. Still nothing. It won't repair an engine or tracks. I have both repairs ( large and small repair kits) on every vehicle. I need help with this problem and I never got an answer back on how can I donate small amounts to you without having to sign up for PayPal. I've been using your mods since '14, have had a ball with them; you deserve donations.

  8. Every time I download the mod "T for repairing engine & tracks" and play the game, it's not there. So, I redo the mods and the box is unchecked. I check it and again it disappears. Is there something new to WoT that in use, it conflicts with the mod and overwrites? As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the most important in the game.

  9. in "aim helping mods"  catagory, I select the "T" key (as I have for years). When I go in game and my track is disabled, I hit, hit, etc. the "T" key and I have to wait like normal people, and usually ends up with me losing the tank or at least a lot of HP. Then, I go back in to the mods, #2 and find, (every time) the "T" key is unselected, even though I check before I leave, that the "T" key is selected, in-game, it's not there. One thing, it still works to direct arty by tagging an opponent. Is there any way to use a different key? I know, it sounded dumb when I typed it, just can't think my way out. I don't know how to brawl without having control of my tracks. Fix this and I'll hit you up again in the donation dept. :-)

  10. What are the logs you need. I'm sure I can get them to you if you tell me how. The screenshots I already sent, but if you need those I can send them. This problem is driving me crazy. I suspected the mods were the culprit, but they are the same mods I've been using for years. If we can work this out, I guess I owe Aslain a contribution, eh?

    Regards, PAYSON1

  11. Never had this happen before; of course. When I do a clean install and test it, it's fine. No trouble at all. Then I back out of the game and load the mods, strange things happen. I've tried everything I can think of 3x over. When I launch the game, the garage comes up as though the graphics are set to 600 x 400.... huge. When I go in and play the game, the vehicles are OK, but the graphics are, again, like the it's set rediculously low. I do the thing of selecting graphics and it recommends 1920 x 1080, as it should. My flight sims are all fine, off line or on. If you have any advice, I'd appreciate it.

  12. The next sound you'll hear is..... "where are all the members going". No wonder. I'm the worst tanker in the game, but I like to have fun and I'm willing to pay for it. The mods from Aslain made for more of the fun than just a tank game. I was in on a blog where (as usual) 2 guys called in and wondered if WoT was a good game to get in to. Taking my turn, I told them if you like a god-like atmosphere, where management likes to limit play to the way they want it to be, and you like to pay for ill-will, it's for you. I always wondered how a game that doesn't use a joystick gets the "Golden Joystick".
