  1. I am having most of the same problems the rest of you are listing here. Tried OMC pack last night and most of the same problems listed here happened to me in OMC, too.

The zoom-in turret freeze is debilitating, but like another poster here, I figured out how to get out of it, albeit dangerously - just start driving and in a few meters (I think about 75 meters for me, as I remember) your zoom will unfreeze and you can go back to arcade mode.

Either both OMC and Aslain missed something (which Aslain cannot check until Europe gets 9.7) or something is new in 9.7 that is confounding modders atm.

OMC is a great mod, but Aslain's is the greatest. Aslain's type is larger and easier to read than OMC's and Aslain has a 60X Zoom, OMC does not. Aslain's also supports his mod a bit better and with more personal service.

I am confident Aslain will fix this stuff and I thank him for doing all this work so I don't have to!

    Keep it up, Aslain!

  2. Still having CTDs with latest version. Not always, but frequently. Happens when going into a battle or coming out of one. I can get back in before battle starts.

Wiped hard drive, reinstalled OS and WOT, still had the problem, though not as severe.

I suspect an XVM conflict with the main game and not your mod, but attaching logs for you to peruse.

Sticking with your mod because I love it so much and I love your support. But CTD issue needs solving. Never had CTDs until 9.6 patch came out.

    Thanks again!

  3. Edit markersDeadNormal.xc in similar way, however you didn't check to install: show dead vehicle names, hence you will not find them enabled in the conf

Ahh, understood. However, I do not want that flying wing or nuke stuff, so it will remain off, lol.

And, I am happy to report that your OTM fix works perfectly! I have changed the Player Name font size and Y value and even an old man like me can see it now! And I've decided that the other font sizes are OK as they are.

I am a very satisfied customer and I am switching from OMC to you today. Donation on the way and Aslain, thanks again so very much.

  4. Wow, thanks for the fast response!

I know how XVM positioning works, I do that with OMC now, to add space for the bigger font size. I just need to find where to do it in your config. Here is my Aslain OTM, from top to bottom:

    Strong Shadow

Main Text Field - Vehicle Name

Player Name (this needs to be much bigger for me, lol. Fixing this alone will be enough to keep me with you!)

Squad number on the left and tier number on the right side (Needs to be bigger)

    Vehicle names colored by ally/enemy

Vehicle hitpoints colored by ally/enemy (Needs to be bigger)

Stock turret marker (Needs to be bigger)

    Tank name over destroyed vehicle

    Rating marker icon

    star (needs to be bigger)

Aslain, thanks again for responding so quickly.

  5. I would like to stay with Aslain's - it is better than OMC.

But, I am 59 years old and I need bigger Tank and Player Name font sizes over the tanks. OMC has responded and told me how to do this via Notepad editing and it works, via the MarkersAlive and MarkersDead files.

I have tried to do the same thing and edit the same files in Aslain, but they are not as easy to read as OMC's and I cannot find the same things in them as I did in OMC.

If anyone can direct me exactly where to edit these files in Aslain, I would gladly stay with Aslain instead of OMC. I just need bigger OTM type!

    Thanks.
