  1. I just spent the last half hour going through my garage and selecting tanks, making sure they had camo, going to the next tank, etc until I had gone through all the tanks in my garage, then went back to the beginning of the list and checked which camo they still had on. And indeed several of the tanks were missing one or more camo. Unfortunately, that whole nice sequence should have been recorded by AMD ReLive, but it's (known) buggy and just recorded a black screen with a cursor moving around, so that wasn't very helpful. I have attached my logs, if that's any consolation.

I can confirm that it does not require going into battle, simply selecting different tanks in the garage will remove camo from some of them and fail to put it back. Just like ellana29460's video above shows.

  2. I have this problem recently as well. I have 6 free camo sets so there's plenty to go around all the tanks I might be able to play and have in battle simultaneously.

Most often when I find that a tank is missing camo, it's only one season of camo that's missing (which is actually worse because the garage will preview the tank in, say, winter camo and then when I spawn in a desert map I find that the desert camo has been dismounted).

This is just a casual observation, I don't have empirical evidence, but it seems that the mod is happy enough to dismount the camo from another tank when it needs it but isn't remounting all the camo sets when selecting a different tank. Wild hypothesis, but I think perhaps it just checks to see if the camo needed to preview the tank in the garage is mounted, and if so it doesn't check if the other 2 seasons are also mounted.

It used to work perfectly well until about a month ago or so, perhaps v1.0.1, since then this missing camo issue has been plaguing me :(

  3. About two weeks ago I suddenly stopped receiving forum notifications of updated threads. I have tried unfollowing and refollowing a topic, I have tried changing the email address in my profile, but nothing. And no, it's not in my spam folder :)

Now, of course, the trick is to remember to come back to this thread in a day or two to see if anyone has suggestions, because it won't notify me of any replies :(

  4. Also having a problem with equipment being randomly on or not on my tank. I've always used the XVM equipment auto-return and it's always worked flawlessly. Since the auto-camo option has been available, however, camonet/binocs/toolbox may or may not be remembered on my tank. Sometimes they're loaded, more often they're not.  I have the new camouflage auto-load set, but the equipment (and consumables, etc) option disabled for the new mod, using XVM version, and it doesn't work right. I have also tried it the other way, with the XVM version disabled and the new auto-equip enabled. This also doesn't work right. So many times I've gone into battle and wondered where my camonet and binocs are :(

  5. At a quick glance it seems to include logs for the last little while, not sure if it's time or size limited, but for me it included the several freeze+reload from today, as well as some battles from yesterday before 9.21

Presumably Aslain has made it gather whatever info he needs, just run it and attach the resulting zip file (~100kB in my case)

  6. I see there is now a magnet icon next to the torrent download link, and the magnet URI is in there, but malformed.

It currently links as an HTTP link:

    http://magnet/?xt=urn:btih:FCD7FAF85A3DF26ADD840CDFDED97F4AC2CB121B&dn=Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.9.20.1.4_04.exe...

but magnet is the protocol, that http shouldn't be there, it should be:

    <a href="magnet:?xt=urn:btih:7TL7V6C2HXZGVXMEBTP55WL7JLBMWEQ3&dn=Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.9.20.1.4_04.exe...">

  7. General issues:

    * 3/6 trackers haven't worked for a long while and should be removed (kicks-ass, dutchtracking, bittorrent.am)

    * web seeds aren't being registered correctly in the torrent file, nobody can download via the torrent until someone (usually me) downloads via HTTP and then seeds it

    * .torrent file not always uploaded to the server that it's linked to on the download page (usually it exists at one of the other mirrors, but most users won't be creative enough to recreate the requisite URL on another mirror to see if it exists there).

    * Still hoping for magnet: links to be posted on the download page :)

Also, a specific issue to (v9.20.1.4 #00), the file uploaded to eu25.gamersplatoon.com is corrupted, the one from eu.blackboxservers.net is sane (I didn't check the other two mirrors).

  8. If the default link doesn't work then change the subdomain to one of the other gamesplatoon mirrors, such as:

    http://eu25.gamersplatoon.com/Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.9.20.0_10.exe.torrent

And usually at least one of the mirrors will be working.

It also doesn't help that the webseeds no longer seem to be working. Even when you can download the .torrent you see a dozen peers at 0%.

For the last 5 versions or so I've had to download via HTTP and become the initial seed to get the torrent working. You're welcome.

I still wish Aslain would post a magnet link to go with the torrent, it would eliminate the problem of servers being down or overloaded, it's kind of silly to have the whole alternate download stream using bittorrent and yet still be dependent on the servers to get started.

    URI for 9.20.0_10 is magnet:?xt=urn:btih:5NWMAZ6QSFCIW2EKEKKD6QU5M7LSAEL6

    URI for 9.20.0_11 is magnet:?xt=urn:btih:BABG4EGP6MD4QPVASUIRCVVD3KY67TZB

    URI for 9.20.0_12 is magnet:?xt=urn:btih:5MNE5ODXUJGRAKY65CERV573NZIATP6C

    URI for 9.20.0_13 is magnet:?xt=urn:btih:LVNVNZWDMK3CVOG4TMGAXDMF7JE2S6J2

    URI for 9.20.0_14 magnet:?xt=urn:btih:EVA43KM6DOZV3T4N63EJNKRUAJ4SSNOW

  9. An excellent example of why I wish Aslain would publish a magnet link on the download page. I don't really need to contact the download server, all I need is a few bytes to identify the torrent and then it can download as fast or slow as it wants, and the more concurrent downloaders the better...

edit: for 19.1.00 it's  magnet:?xt=urn:btih:GFVFUJYQRI36MCLP5XXKNA4MRL7WB7JM (which this forum software won't let you hyperlink properly)
