I left for work this morning and when I got home it had been running for 6 hours and was only 300mb in to a 480mb download. It froze up at some point and now I have to re download it from the beginning again. The download speed did increase to 40kb/s, so estimated download time is 3 and a half hours. I've never seen this from you guys and to be honest I'm about to go download solo's or something.

hmm, ok. It just seems like the download speed is capped or something. it will not go past 20kb/s download

I ve downloaded this mod pack many many times right after a patch update and I've never seen this. This is ridiculously slow download.

I'm having the same problem. 6hours estimated time to download 400MB

I just downloaded the 9.10 mod pack and am installing the pack now. However it for whatever reason is downloading the mods at an insanely slow speed. like 8-15 kb/s, I have 50m/s internet, there is no reason for this. Anyone else see anything like this?

Many people are having this problem, a common fix is to unistall wot, delete anything wot related, and then perform a clean reinstall. should clear up the issue

Maybe I am missing something but did a bunch of sounds mods get removed from the installer? Specifcally engine and gun sound mods.

With some good double bush mechanics you can easily shoot at close range enemies without being spotted. There are no mods that I am aware of that change any mechanic of the game. Mods only work with information sent to your computer from the wot server. There is no way to change anything in the game, such as your ability to spot the enemy. That would be hacking the wot servers, which is not possible. Even the infamous warpack only relays information sent to your computer that is not normally visible, it is not changeing any rules or giving you any super abilities.
