Yeah but it's a fair question to ask if it was a WG bug or a mod bug. Anyway, just wanted to update anyone having problems still. I had to do a complete reinstall but the game launches fine now. If you can't get the game to launch then I'm afraid that may be the only course of action. Although I would suggest following Aslain's F.A.Q. first as it may work for others.

I'm having the same exact issue and this is immediately after I tried to install this mod pack. It's the mod pack, not WG. EDIT: I'd like to add that even after uninstalling and checking the game files the game will freeze at the loading screen and give me that pop-up message.
