  1. Hi! If anyone of you uses Lutris/Wine, please have a look at the following file and tell me if you have any lines containing Process exit code: 4. File: World_of_Tanks_EU/Aslain_Modpack/_Aslains_Installer.log I would like to know if I am the only one having these 🙂 .
  2. I ran the modpack you linked and didn't notice any additional UI messages or log output. Furthermore I ran the installer in a Windows 7 virtual machine (using VirtualBox) to check if I get the same exit codes as when using Lutris with the chosen components. Result: I don't get any exit code 4. Btw. - it would be really helpful if your installer would have a component selection export/import as I solved that by exporting/importing the registry branch which contains this selection (see below). HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_is1 Then I did a directory comparison between the Windows 7 vm mod installation and the one in Lutris of the following directories (two comparisons): Games/World_of_Tanks_EU/mods Games/World_of_Tanks_EU/res_mods Result: Identical. I tried to to reproduce the exit code 4 by extracting your installer with innounp and running one of the batch scripts manually using wineconsole. Result: Script executed successfully without any errors (contained two sed commands). To me it seems that the start/stop handling for processes and/or exit code handling within the installer may have some issue - at least when run within Lutris/Wine. I tried to get some more debugging info from Lutris, but when enabling full tracing, the slowdown is so massive that the installer didn't even startup in a reasonable time. Even when I run the installer in the Windows 7 vm (which acts fast) I would be able take screenshots from the UI while it builds up. Currently it's ok for me as the installation result is ok, but you may want to have a look at the batch script handling within your installer and the performance. Thanks for your help!
  3. Strangely enough most (if not all) of the batch files which exited with code 4 lead to the expected outcome in the UI concluding from the file names. It would be nice if I could run the batch files with exit code 4 manually to see where they fail. Is that possible? PS: Many thanks for your hard work!
  4. I just fixed it by myself by extracting the directory Games/World_of_Tanks_EU/res_mods/gui contained in C:/Games/World_of_Tanks_EU/Aslain_Modpack/DL_cache/Aslains_3D_icons_roman_TIM_11014.7z into C:/Games/World_of_Tanks_EU/res_mods Aslain, what do the exit codes of your batch scripts mean? Usually a non-zero exit code means some error, but I assume in this case not. Below you find the output ordered by exit code. Code 0 (39 entries): Code 1 (4 entries): Code 4 (18 entries):
  5. Which batch script is it? Are there any log files which it writes to which I can check for errors? I guess I could work around this problem with a few more instructions 🙂 .
  6. Hi, I tried to keep my mod setup simple (see attached _Aslains_Installer_CompList.log) and tried various different combinations, but I cannot get the desired contour icons to show up - they are always the default ones (see screenshot below). Everything other is working as expected. The installer does not hang and does not report any error. I've done some troubleshooting and it seems the contour icons are not even installed (neither pictures nor atlas), but the archive is present in the download cache (C:/Games/World_of_Tanks_EU/Aslain_Modpack/DL_cache/Aslains_3D_icons_roman_TIM_11014.7z). I am on Ubuntu using Lutris and have otherwise no problems with WoT and the other mods. Maybe it's just some beginner and/or setup issue regarding your mod pack on my side. Many thanks in advance.
