  1. Thanks, I finally have a chance to try this out.

    You're right, I updated this file: [World of Tanks install location]\res_mods\1.22.1.0\gui\sound_notifications.xml

    Changing these two sections:

      <event>
        <name>ally_killed_by_enemy</name>
        <chance>100</chance>
        <fxEvent>expl_ally_NPC</fxEvent>
        <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx>
      </event>
      <event>
        <name>enemy_killed_by_ally</name>
        <chance>100</chance>
        <fxEvent>expl_enemy_NPC</fxEvent>
        <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx>
      </event>

    To:

      <event>
        <name>ally_killed_by_enemy</name>
        <chance>100</chance>
        <fxEvent></fxEvent>
        <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx>
      </event>
      <event>
        <name>enemy_killed_by_ally</name>
        <chance>100</chance>
        <fxEvent></fxEvent>
        <cooldownFx>0</cooldownFx>
      </event>

    Is there a base file that this modified file is derived from?

  2. Note: I'm testing these configurations with this replay I randomly grabbed: https://wot-record.com/replay/233497/jalava72_t_100lt_rigged_gun_see_for_yourself

    When I select "Remove annoying sound from destroying allied/enemy tank" the radio static no longer occurs. Configuration attached as "No Static"

    When I add the "Sounds instead of crew voices" sound mod, the radio static returns. Configuration attached as "No Static with Simple Sounds"

    A friendly dies ~50 seconds in to the game.

    Your issue is strange, most of people are using session stats backup system, and only on your PC is problem. There were similar reports like yours in the past, but it's ultra rare.

    I will try something else, maybe it will help you. Will let you know.

    The folder structure looks correct now, thanks!

    Stevoni, try running a program like CCleaner, to clean out your temporary files folder.

    (You can also try just using Windows "Disk Cleanup")

    And then try using the backup feature once more... something crazy is going on with it, at least in your case.. :)

    Neither of them fixed the issue. This doesn't bother me much since I use VBAddict ADU with in game session stats too.

    I can verify that it works under the current tanks version (0.9.17.0.1).  I still install it manually after every Aslain's update!  I don't know enough about the modpack installer to say if it'll work there or not.  I sure hope so!

    I've zipped it up as a custom mod and have the installer installing it, just annoying to have to remember to check it myself :D

  6. .Net Framework 3.5 should also have been distributed to you by Microsoft ages ago. The mentioned mod requires this framework to work properly.

    I don't see this mentioned in the modpack or on the forum post.

    Additionally, why would a python script require the .Net framework?

    As to why the framework isn't installed, I just did a clean install of 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013 (apparently VS 2013 only installs 4, 4.5, and 4.5.1), so I was definitely surprised to see that I needed to install it. I would have to install the "feature" for 3.5 to have it installed, which I didn't do because I didn't think I would need to.

  7. Hi, I seem to have detailed stats covering the top half of the game all the time. Any idea what I did? Image attached. Thanks

    You should turn off the vehicle tiers when you have a contour mod with tiers.

    Settings->General (tab)->Team Panel (group box)->Show Vehicle Tier (checkbox).
