Issue has been resolved. People still experiencing this issue will see it fixed in the next release. (v4.5.3)
-
Read the release notes and you shall be enlightened :)

Are you by any chance using Windows 10?
-
Have you tried running the installer with administrative privileges?
Also try disabling your AV. -

Is there really any reason to be a jerk to him? The notes don't specifically say anything about OTM reload so it's easy to miss it when it just states "removed mods that don't work in 9.9" or whatever... people need to have more patience with people and try some kindness sometimes.
It wasn't my intention to sound like a jerk, so for that I think I owe Alendo an apology. I'm sorry Alendo :)

Damn son... Could you possibly have any more tanks?

Learn to read the release notes people...
v4.5.0 (15-07-2015):
- compatibility with WoT 0.9.9 (based on XVM nightly build 4627)- removed incompatible and potentialy incompatible mods with WoT 0.9.9- updated critical mod scripts like PMOD and Koshnaranek- since I'm on vacations, it will take some time to update the rest, patience please :)- forgive me if some mods are still bugged, I couldn't test everything from hereIf you can't find it, it's simply not updated to 9.9 or in the modpack yet.

Hmmmm that's rather wierd.
in World_of_Tanks\res_mods\configs\xvm
find xvm.xc
check if it still contains:
/** * The boot configs file. To use - rename to xvm.xc. * * Reference format: ${"path to config file":"."} * // - comment out the line (will not be used) * * --------------------------------------------------------------- * */ ${"Aslain/@xvm.xc":"."}
-
Reinstalling fixed the issue. probably got overwritten by patch.
-
in World_of_Tanks\res_mods\configs\xvm\Aslain find login.xc
login.xc find:"skipIntro": false
set to trueor the other way around ofc.

I'll rerun the installer. Maybe something got fucked up :)

I think you mean a carousel?

As most of the people (Win XP/7/8.0 or upgraded from 8.0 to 8.1) already have .NET 3.5 installed this usually doesn't happen, hence there is no mention of this in the modpack. Python can do all sorts of things including calling upon a .NET framework API to handle requests and present these in an overlay. The use of such a way is completely up to the coder of any mod.
I'm not saying this is the right way of coding, but it this specific case it happened to be a required feature.I can't promise anything but I'll contact Aslain and ask if he would include a notion of the required framework in the description text.
I do hope this is to your satisfaction :) -
Hi
Do we have another ghost? He has helped Roughneck too.

The preview picture is a bit incoherent in my opinion.

Have you found anything specific you'd like to see added? If so, please post a link.

.Net Framework 3.5 should also have been distributed to you by Microsoft ages ago. The mentioned mod requires this framework to work properly.

Bit late, the damn thing started multiplying days ago. I'd better start writing new containment procedures, or this might happen:

Now where did I put those emergency shutdown codes......

I just ran the installer in a VM with a clean install of windows 7 and had no issues with the preview window. Would you be so kind to send me a copy of your dxdiag in order for me to check for compatibility issues with some of the dynamic link libraries?
