How would that be any different to the modified player panels which shows gun range, torp range etc? Adding radar range into that would be nice.

I am inclined to agree, I find it very difficult to see the inbuilt lag indicator on a HD resolution screen.  Whilst I (temporarily) used another modpack installer I stumbled on a modified lag indicator that used a large LAG in text that flashed but I can't remember what it was called lol.
