When I attempt to do that very thing, the installer locks up permanently and I have to use the Task Manager to kill it.
I think that the installer is trying to unselect Pogs (which is currently disabled) and locks up at that point. It cannot select a different icon set until it unselects Pogs, to which the installer lost access.
Aslain,
The problem is that I cannot uncheck Pogs icons without the installer completely locking up. The Pogs option is enabled and blanked out at the same time.
What is the name and location of the selection configuration file for the mod options?
The installer somehow remembers my mod choices for the previous modpack version, and I would like to access that file.
In the latest version #08, the Pog's contour icons have been disabled.
They appear on my list as selected but blanked out. When I try to select any other icon set, the installer freezes immediately and permanently. I am unable to fix my icon selection and proceed with the installation.
I have installed the Aslain 1.23.1.0.02 version perfectely, for WOT.
Now I tried to install the latest Aslain 1.23.1.0.06 and 07 and I am unable to properly install.
Please see the attached photos for errors.
Are there a few specific files the installer looks for, so that I don't have to copy the entire game?
But this wasn't an issue one version ago. Why has this been implemented?
That's exactly my problem. I always installed your mod-pack into a custom folder INSIDE the World Of Tanks directory, but now it won't let me.
Why wouldn't a strong warning be enough, like it always was?
Could you, please, allow it again. I would very much appreciate it.
The new "client detection" issue prevents me from installing the mod into a custom folder.
I always install mods into a custom folder and then use JSGME to enable or disable them, in order to ensure that my game files remain clean, and to have the ability to disable and enable the mods very quickly without having to delete and reinstall.
This new feature is trying to FORCE me to install the mod into where it wants, versus where I want it to be installed. This is unreasonable.
Can we please have the ability to install in custom folders again. This is pretty much a mod pack breaking feature for me.
