Okay so to answer your questions. Yes it did happen with both BADoBEST and BADoBEST+. The problem even occured on a clean install of the game, a fresh preferences.xml file and no other mods installed. That being said I found a fix / workaround. I had to first install an older version of the BADoBEST player panels in which there was only a single checkbox for all equipment and activate that. After that I could install the new versions (both regular and +) with individual ship equipment and it works. After this workaround my preferences.xml file now contains that " <showParams> true </showParams> " line which probably was the issue as I suspected myself earlier. Now for the Autospy minimap mod thing. So I did get the circles for submarine surveillance and hydrophone somewhat working too. But here's the catch. They ONLY work for allied submarines and hostile submarines and NOT for yourself if you play a submarine. Maybe this is intentional ?

Could it be a conflict witrhin the mods that they interfere with each other?

Nope neither is working. Also I just noticed your screenshot shows "BADoBEST" player panels. I'm talking about the new "BADoBEST+" version.

Oh well. I'll do some further testing including a complete fresh re-install of the game and report back tomorrow. Thank you for your help so far.

I believe what could cause my issue is that in the previous version (that didn't have individual ship equipment checkboxes) I had the global "ship equipment" checkbox turned off. This options has now been replaced but it might still be hidden somewhere in my files "overwriting" the individual ones. It there a way to "force" the mod to forget the previous setting and go back to default? When I simply try to re-install it form the modpack it remembers the old settings so that doesn't help.

But this options was just recently added back in like 3 days ago. On the same version updated those submarine circles where added.

I actually tried that. I did reset the settings for the mods but I still could not get those 2 mods to work properly. I know that e.g. StatsBloke has the same issue with the Autospy minimap mod. In fact I know multiple people who use that mod but neither of them has gotten the submarine circles to work.

BADoBEST+ panels ship equipment not working. I see the checkboxes for each individual ship equipment and I can click on them. But the incon and stats don't actually show u on the panels. Autospy Minimap has a similar issue with the recently added circles for Submarine Hydrophone and Surveillance. The checkboxes are there and enabled but the circles don't show up on the minimap (I'm in a Gato). Aslains_WoWs_Logs.zip
