Sorry, for delay in response. I am traveling and using a new laptop, not sure how to get screenshot of what I am getting when I try to load mods. When I try to open the download, I get a popup window that asks which program to use to open the download such as Adobe, Internet Explorer, Paint, Notebook, Word etc. I have never run across this before.

I have downloaded and used Aslain mods for WoWS and WoT for quite a while now. With last update it is asking what program I want to use to open file for installation. What do I use? I have never come across this issue before. Thanks for help! LOVE THE MODS!!!!!!

I am running updated WoT and have been using Aslain's mods for over a year. When I updated mods last and tried to open game, I get an error message stating: "Game resource path does not exist: ./res/packages/hangar_premium_23feb_v3.pkg". Any ideas? Thanks Knights -

No, just happy with what is currently working. I did get the latest version download, so don't know if that made the difference either. As far as I am concerned this case is closed. Thanks again for everyone's help, especially Almace!

Yes, Windows 8 .NET Framework 3.5 is already marked in Windows features. Graphics and Drivers are up-to-date as far as I know

Alright Almace, ran all three got "OK" on Java, Javax64 and Shockwave. Got a skipped on .NET (not supported:OS/Service Pack). Does that help you with my problem?

Should I click all those you listed? Shockwave, Java, etc?

OK, thanks for the detailed instructions. I have attached the requested files. Yes, I am over 50, 55 to be exact, hope that doesn't make anyone ROFLOL. Learned that one several weeks ago! I have found the requested files, but don't remember how to attach them for viewing. Sorry, just a "point and click kind of guy". I cannot "drag and drop" and having difficulty "copy and pasting". Advice? I will check video card driver also.

OK, I am still not able to get mod to work. I removed WoT and mod from computer, ran virus scan, even took it back to Best Buy for full check. Computer is clean and in great shape! I have only had it for 4 months anyway. I reinstalled WoT, downloaded Aslain mod pack. WoT was working prior to applying mod. Mod pack downloaded and installed without an apparent problem. When I opened WoT, I got the startup screen with the progress bar. The progress bar went to about 85-90% and then the program crashed. I ran "_integrity"; however, encountered the same crash. There is not a virus on my computer. The mod is simply causing WoT to crash for some other reason. My computer is a Lenovo product and I have only had it for 4 months, so latest Windows operating system. Any ideas? I would really like to run Aslain when playing WoT. Let me know if you need any other information to assist in answer. Thanks for any and all help.

OK, I did not create a shortcut to my desktop. Got that now. Already had removed programs. I am redownloading and reinstalling. I will run integrity scan if needed. A big thanks to everyone for all advice and assistance. Knights

Here are screenshots of what I am seeing. First is the Failure to launch message, next is the Critical Error message and last is the WoTLauncher page, no "Target" area to modify for "_integrity". Any ideas?

OK, right clicking and selecting properties only gives me the following headings under General: Type of File, Description, Location, Size, Size on Disk, Created, Modified, Accessed and Attributes, no Target listed. Any further suggestions? I have to go, so will check back later for answer.

Tried that, got message, "failed to connect to update service", so still a no go!

I saw the post you mentioned, but I cannot find the WoTLauncher.exe file. Can I run an integrity scan another way?

I have a WoTLauncher, no .exe, when I right click on the file and select properties there is no "Target" area for me to input "_integrity". What now?

I got the mod downloaded and installed, but now it makes the game crashed. I saw that another player had the same issue, so I followed the thread. I can not find a WoTLauncher.exe file in my Games/WoT folder. What next? I don't want to have to uninstall and download everything again if I can avoid that.
