there we go, it's been good all afternoon and then suddenly i loose key control and it starts to log out ... is it just XVM ? Aslains XVM .. or my setup ??

nope, all that was deleted. I went through with CCleaner and went through registry as well. I checked that all folders were deleted on clean install. I also noted that in the mods list is the "remember favorite server", now if I d-select it from the mods list, it will still go back to my favorite server ?? I have everything installed as normal install (ie "C" drive) so there is no room for files/folders installed in wrong places .. dunno whats going on. I have, however, just played 6 games without issue today .. yay ... oh and one other thing .. every so often I get a "go slow" problem where there is major lag, even though the ping rates are great. I find there is no other way around this issue other than to shut down and re-boot. Then all works fine ???

I've tried running with nothing selected in the mods list and I still get issues though. Last week I just had to run in safe mode to play at all. There are also mods that are running without being selected as well. I have the gun direction for all tanks showing up in game when it's not selected in the mods list ?? I know that they are playing catchup with the mods but all the same it's very frustrating. Even more so when I don't know how to troubleshoot.

Nope ... I've used Aslains from the start and never ever had problems .. updated without a hitch ... but now it is intermittent .. I can have agame and it's fine .. other times it crashes (and I can log back in to the game), other times I lose heyboard control (CNTRL, TAB, ESC keys) .. or I cannot select warnings (defend base etc) .. if I can troubleshoot then it will help me sort it out ..

I know that we are behind in updates .. no problem .. but why is my WOT so problematic from one game to the next? One minute I have all keyboard controls working then next game I lose the CNTRL and TAB keys ... then I cannot select commands .. then it all works .. then the game crashes .. I've even turned off (Aslains) XVM mods and tried to run the game .. but nope .. have to resort to safe mode ... is there a way of problem solving what is causing the issue ..

hmm today I have no function from either control keys, escape key or tab ... I also cannot use mouse to highlight co-ordinates or use mouse to highlight commands ..?

Downloaded and installed .. thank you so much for your help :-) Are the greyed out sections in the mods section a result of the updates to WOT ?

ummm no .. I've been running the auto update 9.15.34 ...

did all that .. my res mods folder contains the 0.9.15.0.1 .. note the difference .. when I try and run the game normally (not in safe mode), it asks for the 0.9.15.1 folder .. if I place a new folder in the res mods folder called 0.9.15.1 then the game will start normally but without any of the mods ?? this is a clean install .. I've never had this problem before and never had to do this .. I even did a cclean and registry clean prior to installing the game again .. Which installer are you talking about ? XVM installer or Aslains_WoT_Modpack_Installer_v.9.15.34 .. I'm using Aslains installer

ok just did that and it didn't delete the 0.9.15.1 folder, about to play and see what happens .. thanks for the help :-) ok the game starts now but I have no mods at all?

Ok, I think I have found a problem here .. if I manually put the folder 0.9.15.1 in the res mods folder and run aslains XVM , it is deleted when the xvm is installing ? And yet if I try and run WOT without it, then it will not run at all? Cmon people, help me out here please ..

nope still not go ... am I just not getting this? In the C drive I have a "Games" folder In this folder I have a World_of_Tanks folder In this folder I have a res_mods folder In this folder I have a 0.9.15.1 folder .. it's there .. in place .. why the F*%k doesn't it work

I made a folder in the res_mods folder called 0.9.15.1 ... I have just done a full clean install and have played the game with no mods and everything works fine .. I am just about to install Aslains XVM .. am I doing anything wrong ? I'm just running aslains xvm with standard install folder (ie: C drive etc)

Nope, created that folder and it will not work. Is there anything supposed to be in the folder?

If I try and launch it comes up resource path does not exist: ./res_mods/0.9.15.1

Ok .. complete fail to start game after update. Just updated and I cannot even log into game. Can start in safe mode just fine but otherwise all I get is a blank screen/garage .. help please guys :-(

just a thought but have the % earned for skills changed at any stage? I've gone back through my early tanks that I had 100% "sixth sense" skills on and used to get the warning icon and sound and they are no longer 100% !!!!! Not happy !!!!

ok got the gnomefathers sound mod going .. hahaha nice .. something has changed as I now have white death tanks as well as damaged tracks and I now have white vehicle direction lines on the minimap that I didn't before ?? any clues as to what has gone on ? Should i do a clean install to try and get things sorted out?

keyboard back after 3rd reboot .. only a problem in WOT ??
