HGHertel Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) Hello Aslain and all other in the forum, it is the first time I use your modpack as a recommendation of a good friend. But when I installed it, my friend and I'll become a message of the danger of malware by the Windows 10 included smart screen filter. Is this the same problem, which the Avast an other virus scanners have already? Avast given't a warning during the install, only the smart screen filter. Can I be sure, that there isn't any malware inside the modpack? I downloaded it from the linked server 1 (Mega) linked on this side in the download section. Greetings and thanks for a short information about the issue. HGHertel Edited November 1, 2015 by HGHertel Quote
MGIMATTY Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Known issue. Disable antivirus and you should be fine. It's a false positive. Quote
Puppyblood Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) I confirm. This mod pack is clean. windows 10 is paranoid. (i guess that's a good thing, but it can be annoying) Edited November 2, 2015 by Puppyblood 2 Quote
HGHertel Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) OK, thank you for your replies. So it seems, it is all fine with the mod pack. @ Aslain: Avast says there is no treatment found, but it will not open some files (like the skin-file of the Tirpitz, mask.dds files) because it says, that they are decompression-bombs (AVAST code 42110). Are they maybe the reason of the detection in the smart screen filter? Edited November 7, 2015 by HGHertel Quote
