Improving FPS?

Hello guys! 

 

The past few Aslain Modpacks have significantly decreased my FPS while in battle. 

 

My FPS ranges from 40-50 on Safe Mode (No Mods running)

 

With Aslains Modpack it decreases to 15-20 for whatever reason? I've been using Aslains Mods since 2014, never really had an FPS issue until lately.

 

Notes:

• I play on a Laptop (Unfortunately);

 

• My ISP is Time Warner Cable (I have 100+Mbps)
• I have no other mods running, only Aslains Modpack
• Ping usually stays around 90-100
