  1. Ha ha... we start to go round in circles: that was your idea in your first answer. But still... that doesn't affect the battle loading and the statistic form. ;-) No, I think the option "Show roman tier number on vehicle icons" makes sense, but I think there is a bug with it. I have not chosen a special battle loading window or statistic form from the options underneath and maybe that's the reason why "Show roman tier number on vehicle icons" doesn't show any effect for me. I have no interests in XVM statistics so I want to keep the vanilla versions and have no reason to chose one of the alternative versions with player stats but I will test it next time when there is a reason to update the installer...
  2. This seemed to be a good hint for me, but it doesn't work... :-( I tried it with a new installation, verified that this option is not set but the roman numbers are displayed as usual, because "removeVehicleLevel" is still set to "false" in all the three files (battleLoading, battleLoadingTips, and statisticForm) after the installation. So, either this is the wrong option for removing the roman tier numbers in battleLoading and statisticForm OR this is the right option but it does not work like intended. Maybe this option has some hidden dependencies to other options, but I wasn't able to figure that out.
  3. No... this option does not affect the display on the battle loading screen and the statistic form (when you press the TAB key). In vanilla game there is no option for hiding the vehicle level in these screens, but XVM offers the parameter "removeVehicleLevel": true/false in battleLoading.xc and statisticForm.xc to control that. That's what my question is about. Maybe there is an option in the installer to select that I still haven't noticed...
  4. Hi Aslain, I remember that this topic came up over a half year ago, that the vehicle level is displayed while battle loading and in the statistic form on top of the tank icons. As far as I remember you wanted to disable the this by default because most contour icons already have that information... except for the original icons. Since I do use your classic contour icons and I had to switch on the "removeVehicleLevel" parameter manually after every installation I just wanted to clear: do you have changed your mind not to hide the vehicle levels or is there is something going wrong during the installation? Great work overall!
  5. I tested with installer .11... and now it works. Without replacing the CameraNode.pyc. Finally! :-)
  6. Sorry, I thought this would be of no interest, because apparently I am the only one with that problem. But I can give you the files of course. I made a clean install with dlc download with modpack .10. This is the install log _Aslain_logs.zip and this python.log is the log after starting with the CameraNode.zip from the modpack. Result: Replacing the CameraNode.pyc with this one CameraNode_works.zip produces this python.log and this result: Remarks: 1. I had these "EOFError" in the python.log also in earlier versions of WoT. Game works well nevertheless. 2. There are more working variants of the "CameraNode.pyc" like this one: CameraNode_works2.zip 3. "CameraNode.pyc"s are zipped because I am not allowed to upload these kind of files without zipping them... Hope that helps...
  7. I have found a solution for my "empty garage" bug: replacing the "CameraNode.pyc" from Aslains mod pack by another one (from any other mod) solves the problem and the garage is okay. I don't know why I seem to be the only one who has problems with the file from the mod pack but at least I can sleep well again... ;-)
  8. I do USUALLY use a statistic mod... but not at the moment. Aslains modpack is the only thing, I try to install at the moment. No third party mods at all. I have tried to use Aslains XVM only package .04... and it works. So, it's not a XVM problem, it seems to be a problem with the installer. Maybe Aslain can say, what's the difference between his XVM-only archive and the installer with only Aslains icons selected.
  9. No.. I can't think of any change in security at all. But I have disabled the anti virus tool and run the installer as admin... same result... empty garage. I usually do use some other mods (german statistics, other OTM reload (hate those dead lines in ZJ mods), and some other) but no modpacks. And at the moment there are no other mods at all. I do clean installs every time I try another installation of Aslains modpack. No need to bother with other mods until the base modpack is properly installed. Aslains is the only executable that I use to install mods, every other mod is copied out of zip archives by hand, so I'm prety sure there is nothing unusual outside the res_mods folder which is not from Aslains modpack or WoT itself. I think the only reasonable change since last use of Aslains modpack is update 0.9.14... :-/
  10. You did a lot of work today... impressive. Sadly... it changed nothing for me. The garage is still empty and unusable with version 08. As usual clean install and dlc reload... I have even deleted the whole res_mods folder by myself before installing to be sure there are no undeletable files left but there are still same errors in the log as in previous versions. python.log_Aslain_logs.zip In the file system I can see remnants of sed... don't know if this is wanted. I also have tried the sed2 and sed3 installers from posts #87 and #98... both result in the same empty garage and the same errors in the python.log. Edit: I tried to install 08 with "only recommended XVM options" and even disabled everything... still the same error. I can't believe this is a problem of "sed"... _Aslain_logs.zippython.log Is there any other idea, why I still suffer the same problems as before..?
  11. Strange... I'm doing clean installs with deleting the dlc cache for three versions now without additional mods to test it. But it doesn't work even in .07. Still that error in python.log... _Aslain_logs.zippython.log
  12. Because of the "empty garage" bug I gave up with version .04 and .05. Now I tried it with .06 and it's still the same problem. The mentioned "Show PW Saving Box" checkbox is empty but grey so I have no idea how to switch off that entry.
