  1. Pretty sure aslain knows.. and I'm sure the mod makers know.. they just need to get into the code.. some will be quick fixes.. some will take time.. one upside.. dont have to wait a week for a 'beta' smoke screen mod.
  2. It is also hard to tell if a mod is broke unless it is actually tested on a new patch.. He could just wait until all the mod makers update their mods and then release a big one making us wait for the new pack. But since not all mods get broken when a new patch comes out.. He just makes a few changes and pretty much lets the people who use it bug test the mods included. I bet tomorrow a bunch will be removed.. and some added.. Another zoom-out mod was updated already.. so chances are it'll be in tomorrows mod pack.
  3. Okay got it working.. with some help from the aslains post on the warships forums. 1. Completely uninstall the modpack(using control panel uninstall programs in windows) 2. Run the file checker again(apperently its an issue with smoke circles and the files it modifies) 3. install modpack again(do NOT install zoom-out mods, smoke circles, or aslain player panels) Also note these are just mods people have posted confirming they do not work.. there might be more.(clear view and fog remover do work according to the WS post) These are the mods I have installed and the game starts up and I can log in.. I have NOT played a game yet as of this post. Running lights More visible Torps(blue) Colored Tracers(butter) Crosshair by Nappel More visible cruiser control(this mod has not worked in near a month FYI doesnt cause issues.. just does not work) clear view fog remover
  4. I'm having the same issue.. I've removed EVERY mod one by one and still crashes at launch... Game loads fine in safemode.. tried clearning out DLC files and what not.. still nothing.. I reinstalled all the mods I had before the WoWs update that came out today and attached the logs too. _Aslain_logs.zip
  5. Aslain isnt the mod maker for that mod.. So he has to wait for the person who is to update it and release it..
  6. Should really read the pinned topic that will give you info on how to help Aslain figure out if there is something wrong or not. Also, it is working fine for me.
  7. I've had an issue with CVs too.. But mine is going into the map view(with M) which works fine.. but cannot leave the view. Either M or scrolling on the mouse wheel does nothing to return it back to the main over view.. But I have come to find out it is the Yet another zoom out mod that is the issue.. and could be the issue with you.. or not.
  8. I'm having the same issue but do not have those mods installled.. slowly removing the few mods I've installed from todays update with no luck so far.. so I'm starting to wonder if it was an 'older' mod in the friday update that got updated causing the issue. Found the issue.. it's the training room mod
  9. Always different info on what is coming out next.. What I've heard was German BBs are next.. with British cruisers afterwards.. aah the interwebs.. the best place to never get correct information unless confirmed.
  10. I remember hearing WG will be addressing this.. when.. I dont know.. but they will.. so I doubt there will be anyone wanting to take the time to change something that will be changed in time already.
  11. Is there a mod.. or know of anyone that is able to make one to modify the ingame scores/post game scores list from the current colours.. Especially the darker dead colour.. sometimes it is really really hard to read when I want to toss a message or look someone up on warshipstats.. as you can probably see in the screenshot I attached it sometimes is a pain to read
  12. uninstall Smoke Boundaries.. its been known to cause issues as the version it was patched for(EU) is not the same as the NA version of the game.. sliiiightly different because of 'events' going on.
  13. http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/74464-old-stock-crosshair-mod/
  14. yea I get it too.. the post on the WoWs website says to delete some code which does not work either..
  15. It's where you installed the game.. but Aslain updated the pack with the mod included now
  16. Helps if you read the post.. Gives you instructions on what to do to install
  17. well.. with your pinkie finger pretty much right on the shift button.. shouldn't really need it.. but for some I guess that would be a good idea.. nothing worse than a guy aimed down his sights.. while turning his ship.. ramming into you.. still firing.. shooting into you wondering where his shots are and keeps firing.. some people have been lucky they dont do that when I'm in a ship with torps on both sides.
  18. I dunno why people are having issues.. I'm still using the mod pack from pre russian cruisers and the damage counter and kill colors are working 100% fine..
  19. I never updated to the release that came out the other day.. dont have a lot of the 'bigger' mods installed.. just damage counter.. my sights.. no fog and a few other smaller ones... and just changed the folder name and it all works fine.. But as the other poster said.. they're having no issues.. so maybe download the previous version.. just install the basics.. (damage, sights etc) rename the folder and you should be good to go.
  20. Pretty sure when he put in the bolded to the update notes.. it was expected it would be buggy. Also.. the same issues as before?? different issues.. a little more info would probably help.
  21. yea it is the smoke screen mod.. uninstall and it'll go away. I dont think it was completely updated for the last mod pack.
  22. Should try the tanks section..
  23. I have no issues starting games.. its after games that I get crashes.. and started just after I installed the smoke screen mod. it does say "Bugged Mod" in the installer.. so I'm guessing these issues.. or others are known about
  24. Firing range/Max movement speed/Max damage(I think)
