Yeah its nice, but the average user would have a hard time using it without detailed instructions and notepad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ . If a user wants to modify the actual file to change it they wouldn't know how. Too bad there was not an interface in-game to modify it.

@Aslain Here's the issue I was discussing.
-
I haven't modded it yet but I will choose the best color and post it here.

It works great. Thank you for giving me a little longer to play before my eyes are gone.

OK. I'll look into it. (Have you even tried v2? I helped Aslain to make some minor tweaks, that IMHO added up to a major improvement)
Be warned, this will be tedious. AND you'll have to do it again and again for every modpack update.
Note: I will try helping him because I feel his pain. The reason I started using mods was because of my bad eyesight: my inability to see what was happening, the resulting debilitating vision fatigue and the headaches. I installed every mod that made some elements bigger, brighter or more colorful or got rid of some purpose made distractions. And that's why I got into modding too: my mods are mostly QoL mods, trying to improve on the not-too-user-friendly UI. They won't help you sink more or win more. But they may save you tons of mouse clicks, let you avoid mistakes by showing you things in Port that could be seen only on many different screens in the standard UI and would enable you to play longer, or, play at all. All this is because unfortunately, Lesta is no better than a low-end studio making C-list horror flicks that rely too much on jump scares. Many features in the game, like typhoon, fire frame, flacks, splashes, screen shakes when taking damage etc. are simple artificial visual distractions that hit players with any kind of visual impairment disproportionately hard.
Diabetes is taking a toll on my eyes and I can no longer see the white text...appreciate any help.

What would I need to interact with this mod on my own and figure a way to do it on my end?

ok will do/

Bump...anyone
-
Could really use a mod that changes the text font color from white to other colors. I am almost blind to the white text (Diabetes ravages).

Ok on #7...thanks Aslain!
-
I tried #7 and added Autospy map to what I was running in #6 without a mini map mod. It lasted 1 game then bugged.
-
I found the first of what causes the glitch for me. Autospy minimap got me on the first try...otherwise vanilla. Logs attached. I will keep going to find any more.
-
well I am vanilla now and seem to run fine. Had same issues with #6, so now I am going to install 1 mod at a time and try and find it...
-
Well I made it for 4 games before the wig out with the general public #5 pack...after that it was every time a new game was started I had to task out and restart. Every task restart messed with the ammo selection and fouled the AA to off with issues. The occurrence was at 2:32pm PST.
-
This test made it so I couldn't even load into the first game. So I control alt del to task out. When I load back in finally my AA and Secondary guns are turned off and HE is loaded in a BB. When I return to port I briefly get a black sky.
-
It should be removed...there's a topic already!
-
Between games the game won't fully launch and when I come back to port the sky is black.
-
-
Since this has gone nowhere I will assume this must be confined to my installation. So, I guess I will try a total re-install. Thanks anyway.
-
Thanks for the mods.

Ok. The screenshots are in order of
1. Zoomed out Ziess 25 FOV
2. On start
3. In torpedo UI
4. Upon exiting Torpedo UI
And logs
-
Noticing a problem with the Ziess camera/zoom mod. 1. The game won't start zoomed out. 2. When zoomed out and then transferring out of torpedo UI the zoom changes into a close zoom on the deck of the ship. Anyone else?

I have been using Autospys marker 3. But what a nice feature to add to the mod...a color picker.
