  1. I really hope that this fixes some things for you. The software doesn't sound too good so far.
  2. I would try to just get rid of that software and use like Avira for now. But people also say that those folders stayed on the system, even after uninstalling. Perhaps maybe installing the mod (and maybe WoT again) will work without that software on your PC.
  3. From a quick Google search, it seems that those folders are from a different (security?) software by Comodo. Seems like the files are installed/thrown into those folders. Maybe that's what's creating those issues for you too. If you don't need that software, people recommend not using that (from what I've read so far).
  4. Oh, I see. You didn't have to uninstall WoT though, as you can just move the entire game to another location and it should work fine still. I guess you can just upload the .logs (+ xvm.log) again then, once you have run the latest installer.
  5. Sorry, the file is unins001.exe and is in your main WoT folder. After the uninstall, you can check for anything that has "Aslain" in it, in the main WoT folder, and delete that manually. Then you can try to run the latest installer and see if that works now.
  6. Not sure if they use a different source for the color but I doubt it. But since your name is displayed as orange, it makes sense that the second star is orange as well. So yea, check the scale and the colors.xc and see if they're the same. Maybe there's an error.
  7. I think he missed that you moved the game to another drive. Your old logs say that things got installed to D: but that's correct, since you had your game there. And he wants you to upload your .logs again for the new installation (same things you uploaded before) + the xvm.log in your main WoT folder. I'm not that good at reading logs myself but checking your first logs, they only mention 9.13.43 version of the installer, instead of 9.14 version. Maybe that's the problem. You could maybe try to uninstall Aslain's, using the uninstall.exe (the one with the red X-icon for Aslain's Modpack, since there are 2) and delete all Aslain files as well. Then install with latest installer.
  8. Either your stats aren't up-to-date and still displayed in-game as below 850 WN8 (using the 6 colors scale) or the values in the colors.xc are incorrect. The former you can update by logging into the XVM website and use "update statistics". This will make it so your current WN8 will be displayed in-game, instead of the values from like a few days/weeks ago. If your WN8 is on point in WoT though, you could open the colors.xc file in notepad++ and check if the WN8 values match whatever scale you chose in the installer. The table is located near the bottom of the file and has WN8 as a headline.
  9. I'm just a casual PC user myself but that all seems like some weird voodoo magic to me. Maybe it's time to move on to a new operating system.. can't you still upgrade to windows 10 for free, using your windows 7 key?
  10. Not sure if this helps, since that sounds really weird.. Try to google "show hidden files" and maybe add your Operating System to that search. You should find guides how to change that setting for your specific system. Not sure if that's what's wrong on your end but it's not "normal" behavior, as far as I know.
  11. Tbh, this sounds like one of the issues where the mods aren't installed correctly. Even Aslain (an educated IT guy) tends to rule out errors on his side and blames the individual PC-setups (which is likely to be true). Something must have changed recently, either with 9.14 or Java or other security tools, as some (mostly NA people) seem to encounter issues.
  12. I didn't know about that and I apologize for referring you to that option. I guess, that there is not much of an option for you then, apart from using the skimmed down version, that Aslain has to offer. Aslain's is heavily dependent on other modders (whether they decide to continue to work on certain mods or not) and he is still trying to offer most of the benefits to everyone anyway. So, there's little one can do about the lack of support for certain mods. When Aslain wakes up in the morning, he might give you his 2 cents on the matter but I doubt there's much he is going to do about it - he's not developing mods after all. Might have to just live with limited functionality, for now, or switch to a different mod altogether - if you're not satisfied.
  13. The issue with your OTM/contour icons might be a problem with Aslain not fixing download-links to the correct icons. Regarding to the installation method, one should always use "clean install" (which deletes old mod content from the res_mods folder, before putting in the stuff from the installer) and, during the time of patches, using the option to "delete DLC cache" is also advised (as it gets rid of outdated mods, that you've downloaded previously). "Clean install" should ensure, that all previous mods are deleted before installing newer/updated ones. So there is no hybrid/clutter of mods/files. And, afaik, Aslain is using a distilled version of Melty's, modified to his liking. If you want to use the full version, you should try to get it separately.
  14. The .logs are located in your main WoT folder. They are named "_Aslain_logs.zip".
  15. Files are installed for me without any issues, that I could tell. Try to use C: tomorrow, as it should be the drive with most permissions on many configs.
  16. I might be autistic, so don't take things personally.Take in the information, question and respond to that. Don't think that I'm being rude intentionally.

      so rude! lol

      I'm sorry. >_<

  17. That's really weird and I have no idea why that would be happening. It just shouldn't be happening. Try to run WoT and the installer on C: and see if that's changing anything. I'm as clueless as you are, right now. =3
  18. Yea, the current one isn't as obvious, so I figured that you may have not noticed it. I'm glad to hear that it's working for you though. =)
  19. Run a replay and check again with lower speed, paying close attention to the enemy's health bar. When they shoot, there should pop up a yellow number and a yellow bar below the health bar, after they shoot. Maybe you have missed it when playing (against enemies with fast reload)? If you can't see it, then try to add your .logs to the post, so Aslain can check them out.
  20. When you run the installer and click "next" a few times, it asks you where your WoT is located. Don't just hit "next" all the time without changing anything. When it asks where your WoT is (D:\World of Tanks\ is displayed) you need to change it to where your WoT is now.
  21. Things blocking could be any AntiVirus software, a Firewall or other security tools. It could also be your OS itself not permitting the installer to write files to certain locations (like, a folder only has viewing rights but no writing rights). Things like that are a pain to diagnose and Aslain stated a number of times that he's not going to be people's personal tech-support on issues like this. E: Meh, Aslain fasta.. I call bush kemp!
  22. You right-click (with mouse) on the installer for Aslain's Modpack, that is on your PC (on the desktop probably). There you get some options for what you want to do. One of those options should be "run as Admin(istrator)".
  23. Only for testing, you could move the WoT folder to C: (and/or another drive) and then just run the installer again (perhaps even with right-click "run as Admin"). No need to erase 9.14 folder, if you select "clean install" at the end of the installer.
  24. Hm, that still sounds like XVM isn't installing correctly. That usually is a problem with permissions on your PC. Have you tried to move WoT (the whole game) to a different drive? It's possible that you don't have admin rights on your D: drive. Maybe on C: or another one you do though.
  25. Did you do anything specific, other than restarting your PC?
