  1. FWIW, I did a clean re-install of the game and now do not have the issue, either vanilla or with mods must have been something with the micro patch
  2. Good point, we - or I should say I - don't know that they know that we know that . . . . . .
  3. I would believe that WG has heard about it, would it be helpful or just a PIA to the developers for additional tickets?
  4. are we thinking it's a WG issue or something quirky that appears/disappears with the evolution of the modpack? FWIW, I'm still having the issue with the -19 iteration, still not able to get into the game in safe mode, wondering if I need to reinstall the game entirely.
  5. FWIW, I am still experiencing the no battle results issue as described - reinstalled mods, clearing cache and resetting game, no change. Attempt to start game in safe mode failed, even after rebooting PC - python.log _Aslain_logs.zip
  6. Now, it seems, I am unable to check out after action details - clicking on the details button does nothing. (haven't checked out safe mode behaviour yet) _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  7. Encountered this twice this morning (before updating to -18 iteration): exit game after destruction, choose different vehicle and start battle; loading screen freezes early in battle loading sequence and exit and restart does nothing - CAN restart into safe mode and continue game. Vehicle does get into the game (AFK, of course). Issue may be resolved with new update, just putting this up in case it's a new issue. _Aslain_logs.zip python.log
  8. found the same using mirror 1, correct files on mirror 2 that's from the us, as of 1430 hrs CDT
  9. thanks, you're awesome - look for my 'appreciation' tomorrow
  10. I play arty a lot and, as Darth pointed out, once a round is out of the tube, there's always a chance a teammate will take a hit - but it's not intentional as in the case Davidinlv82 describes. Part of my satisfaction with arty comes from helping bail a teammate out of a sticky situation, but when one of my guys is bearhugging an enemy, I will not shoot until or unless the enemy makes a kill
  11. Couldn't get into game this morning, discovered had new updates to Intel drivers (HD4600 integrated graphics, likely the main issue) updated drivers, reinstalled modpak, clearing cache and reset game, and still can't get to game: launcher comes up, click on Play and client CTD almost instantly. python.log _Aslain_logs.zip PS> able to play in safe mode without issue
  12. Is it possible to have the big, bright, obnoxious GAME OVER banner either deactivated entirely, or disappear after a short time - it's distracting to the point that I won't use Harpoon - really like the crosshair otherwise. I certainly know when my tank is destroyed, but I sometimes like to follow the end game/ride along with another player and that banner is a major distraction. Thanks (I have tried to find the developer, but not being on that side of the atlantic . . . .)
  13. And to think, I was convinced I had broke something
  14. Pre latest patch, I had the order of my shell load out switched for my SU152 so that the HE was first in line - since the patch, I can change the order in the service window, but it doesn't 'stick' - get to battle and the order is the default. Wondering if anyone else has issue with this, is it mod or patch related? Thanks . . .
  15. I've searched for this issue and found similar reports, but my attempts to apply the corrections have not been successful. Hope you can shed some light on my problem: 1. symptom - on first instance of starting game, the client logs in and behaves as expected until I select battle - during the battle loading process, usually while waiting for players, error message "problem with the program has caused it to stop" appears, with windows trying to find a solution - client will then close and attempt to restart. If allowed to restart, it will progress to the battle, but will be frozen - no control over vehicle, etc., if I then exit from the game a second time, and restart, I can proceed to play as normal (not withstanding how bad I am at it). All subsequent game play is typically normal, although I get random CTD - which starts the process over again. 2. Two days ago, I uninstalled/reinstalled the game, following all the recommended procedures - I played for over an hour with the vanilla client without issue; 3. I installed the mods, issue immediately appeared; 4. mods are installed with admin rights, with firewall and antivirus whitelisted/off; 5. all my device drivers are up to date (craputer is a Gateway Intel i5-4400, 16 gig ram, Intel HD 4600 integrated GPU, NOT upgradeable due to proprietary power supply limitations) 6. I'm sure I'm missing something, but would love a little whack upside the head to get me pointed in the right direction - the issue is frustrating -- thanks in advance. python.log _Aslain_logs.zip 23 AUG - now have reason to believe Bitdefender anti-virus is culprit - received an update to antivirus this am, and found issue with WoT to be worse, with multiple CTD during game play - turned AV off and had no issues with log-in, loading to battle or during battle. Anyone else with Bitdefender and perhaps a solution/list of sites to be whitelisted? 23 AUG - Solution for my issue is to turn off the AV until the game is loaded into the first battle (I turn it off for 5 minutes, turns itself back on after that period) - once I'm in the first battle, the problem doesn't appear. Have a ticket in with bitdefender to have them figure out what their stuff has a problem with.
  16. well, it's in the Harpoon cross hair mod, now, if someone knows if/how it can be turned off . . .
  17. On getting blown up, I get the big, bright GAME OVER msg displayed. It remains until the battle is over or I exit - I'd like to know which mod it is associated with and how to, if possible deactivate it - I do know when MY game is over, don't need the reminder.
