  1. WN9 keeps getting delayed.  Wargaming made WN9 difficult to implement when they did the changes to the light tanks and did not change the tank IDs when the tiers of the tanks changed.

The current WN8 values from Wotlabs are being used until a less labor intensive method develops to update them.  The current method is labor intensive and is done by people who volunteer their time.  The people at Wotlabs are looking into a way to pull data form the servers and auto generate expected values in a less labor intensive fashion.  The current WN8 values from Wotlabs are a general placeholder that goes by tier and tank type and is less specific to the individual tanks.  That's why some sites are not using the Wotlabs values.

    Noobmeter gives me a 2172 recent WN8

    Wotlabs gives me a 1934 recent WN8

Both sites use different expected values.

  3. When using clan icons or personal player icons for players, the icons do not stay with the player and instead move position around during the battle.

    For example:

This is how it appears at the start of battle:

    W5gyhlT.jpg

This is how it appears toward the end of battle:

    o4SsXHj.jpg

As you can see, the two players in the clan 5LINE now have their clan icon all over the right side of the screen.  Also the clan icons on the left side do the same thing.

I've had this issue for multiple versions of Aslain's mod pack since 9.17 was released and thought it might go away with each XVM update.  However the issue persists.

  4. Both the battle and replays freeze on the loading screen.  Nothing from the battleLoading.xc is displayed.  I only get the background image on the loading screen for every map.  The battle never loads.

The game worked without any issue with an earlier mod pack.

I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the mod pack and playing some replays and I had basically the same issue.  Now with some replays it will show the players panels and the map, but not the battle.  Instead it shows the background image from the loading screen the entire replay of the battle.  Other replays it never shows anything other than the background image of the loading screen.

  5. After using the windows search feature and manually searching the 9.16 file, I started up teamspeak and the option I wanted to change in TessuMod is now available from the Plugins menu.  In older versions I had to change the config file manually.  Now its a click of a checkbox.

I did find that more settings can be configured manually in the alsoft.ini file in:

    C:\Program Files\TeamSpeak 3 Client\plugins\tessumod_plugin

  6. I installed TessuMod form the mod pack when I updated recently.  I haven't used this mod in a while.  Last time i used it, there was a config file to edit with options such as directional sound for voices.  However, I haven't found the same config file this time.  Does the mod still have a config file and if it does, where is it located?  Thanks!

  7. Did you contact Wargaming support and ask them what illegal mod you used?  Not long ago, I used a mod that I was told was legal, I received a ban.  I contacted support and the ban was reversed and removed from my record.

Pigeon of War is the guys messages who got deleted, if I'm not mistaken.

And Ghost Prime is called out as contradicting what other staff is saying.

Pigeon is the Wargaming employee who's posts were deleted.  Some of GhostPrime's posts were deleted also.  Then the entire mod Q&A thread was deleted.

Deleting the posts then the thread does look sketchy.  However, I think it was done so that nobody goes back and looks at old information and thinks the old information was correct and not to be underhanded and sneaky.

Here we are 5 or 6 years into the game and e still don't have a definitive list of legal and banned mods.  This wouldn't be an issue if Wargmaing didn't take 5 years to add popular mods to the game.

I would make them give you those 2 days back for the fuckup and the trouble especially if it was found that you didn't do any wrongdoing and it was a miscommunication on their end.....

That would mean dealing with their customer support again...

I was talking with leeuniverse who makes his own mod pack and he said based ont he reasoning that Wargaming gave about legality of mods before that the mod should be legal since it gives you nothing a zoom out mod doesn't.  He was previously told it was legal.
